You must've never visited Austin. The nightlife is made for cacs by cacs. City as a whole is boring as fukk if you're not white. And the only dating/fukking options are Beckys cause of UT/TX State/St. Edwards, etc. But maybe that's your thing... :mjpls:

Most black people (young ones especially) hate living there... But it's got some good state jobs and the tech scene is booming. Lots of good, high paying jobs with a relatively low cost of living compared to the East and West coast.

The blacks willing to tough out the atrocious cultural/lifestyle scene can do pretty well financially if they want to :manny:
Sounds more accurate

You get a lot of mixed messages about Boston. Some people make it seem like a racist shythole, and others say that is overstated.

As for this topic - I just can't see myself living in Atlanta. Too many things about Atlanta are just offputting.

Nashville seems interesting, tho'.
Boston was one of the most hostile cities I've been too. Nashville is cool for families but boring as he'll for singles unless you like honky tonk music.

Damn, Dallas and Austin made the list but not Houston?

Wtf going on...

EDIT: Houston at 8 right behind San Antonio, Dallas ain't make top 10. Overall Texas looking good, but I'm kinda iffy about Austin being that high, never heard much about the black population in Austin.
Native Austinite here lived here all my life. This article is full of shyt. Austin added just 4k black people since 2010 and the percentage has dropped to just 7% of the population. There's nearly 1 million people in this city. Blacks do not like it here. There is nothing for us.

Austin is probably more segregated then Chicago and Dallas if I'm being honest and the only blacks eating are self employed. Tech industry don't hire minorities.

ain't no way Boston should be anywhere near this type of list

I went to school near Boston and of the ten largest metropolitan areas in the US, I found it to be where income disparities between the black and white communities were most apparent due to what seemed like an absence of a black middle class.
