ain't no way Boston should be anywhere near this type of list
Theres a lot of black professionals in Boston. I've seen it first hand.

Most of the black people I knew were either in school OR working bomb ass jobs up there.

It's true some of us are eating. I don't know anyone without a job and many are professionals. I know Boston has a rep but Black folks are eating. I see more white people begging than black folks.
numbers game

Not really

Everyone I know in DC is Military, works directly for the Govt, or works in consulting on govt. contracts. Not saying this is everyone of course, but I would assume majority of the people making over 50k work for something tied to the govt.

The DMV is overrated. I'd personally choose NC over it.
NC is slept on. Tons of companies, top tier University System, and strong population of Black people that you can do well if entrepreneurship or politics is your thing. The low cost of living is the icing on the cake. Good place to raise a family but maybe not the best if Nightlife is your thing.

And that's somewhat true, especially with the contracts, but it's D.C, so that's expected.
I do know of(and personally) plenty African and Black American business owners, who have nothing to do with the gov, or gov contracts, some that employs 50 plus employees in all sorts of fields.
There's a set amount of available gov jobs, not everyone can work it.

eh. i know too many folks that move to NC and ended moving right back to where they left.
I have relatives in Boston. But I know a lot of Black professionals in Boston. They're eating up there.

Obviously the whole community isn't.
can you explain why black Americans have an average of $8 in Boston?

Boston is like a white Atlanta. I can't speak to EVERY black person in Boston. Theres a lot of people struggling there.

But I know many blacks who aren't.

I'm not going rather.
