Have they clarified what Jason Mitchell was on set doing.

My moms mad af about him possibly fukking up this show, every time she watches it, she calls me and asks what he did.


I tell her i'm not sure, she says he looks like the type of nikka to get mad and tell his females on set to suck his dikk and stomps away aggressively

A part of me honestly believes Douda didn't have a hand in this, and will be a major point of conflict next season on his connection with the 63rd street gang.

I want to believe that and maybe that was the case but at the same time him wanting to give Jake a "job" and the seriousness of that guy going to pick up Jake, Reg's lilttle brother was a little too serious. I think he wanted to let Reg relax so he wouldn't see it coming then he put the hit out on him.

At the same time maybe because Brandon won't be back as a character they will right it so he lives some how. Whether Douda had a hand in it we will see.

They said he was inappropriate with the actress who played his charcter's wife so much so that she had to get her husband to come on to the set with her and he was aggressive with the show runner, not Lena but someone Lena left in charge. Both of them had to complain to HR about him.

Lol when you put it that way I see why y'all don't like him but what about the conversation with Brandon in the finale? What about him trying to stay clean and making real progress though he fukked it up, but still. Sure his character was filler with all those back stories and shyt that didn't apply to the real story but imo he wasn't that bad.

They just got to figure out what they gonna do with him and the whole Muslim thing too.

Douda didnt get Reg shot,the other crew did it

Douda just let it happen cause protecting Reg would’ve started a war

The other crew wanted him dead for robbing their stash house

While that's plausible, I can definitely see the other angle that Douda had him lined up. His interest in Jake seemed more along the lines of grooming him to replace his soon to be deceased brother. Not immediately but down the line he'd have him running the 63rd St Mob. On more than one occasion he rocked Reg to sleep thinking everything was good. But I guess we'll find out. Dope finale regardless.

Only time Ronnie's story was tolerable was in the finale episode.

Other than that, the writing seemed like they aint know what to do with him so they just kept letting him fukk up.

All i could do was watch those last two episodes and be sad at Jason Mitchell fukkin this shyt up smh. His chemistry with Kev and Brandon was too good. Ima hang on for Season 3, but we’ll see

What I gathered from Brandon's fallout with his girl is that partners have something that bugs the hell out of them and is swept under the rug, and all it takes is one disagreement to make all of that shyt erupt.

His momma told him that bytch was bougie

If her character was still on the show, she'd be in the kitchen smoking a square talking to her husband on some "I knew that shyt wouldn't work"

@Fukwatutalkinwatisaylaw when I listened to Lena Waithe addressing the Jason Mitchell dismissal situation, she clearly stated, Reg would be a continuing face to look out for in Season 3. She mentioned it in a way that gave the impression he's not going anywhere.

Anyways I liked the season finale.

Damn shame at ol'boy though, he is a really good actor.
He really beat all odds when you think about it, he is short, fat, not really attractive (possibly uglygang) and he started in some critically acclaimed movies. And I think he has no acting background.

This finale! Brandon went and fukked up this show but they gonna be back and better then ever next season. The season started with a wtf and I wish every episode was written up to this level of quality but they went out with a bang with this shyt. I like how they ended this season.

I told Like 5 ppl who were saying they didn’t plan to watch the Chi next season because Brandon got the boot, they were like he’s the main character... what are they gonna do?? I tried to explain that Kevin was more the main character since he saw coogie killed & all the events rotate around that. But some people don’t listen....

I was telling folks the show was fine without Brandon... that he isn’t the main character & the show would be fine without him.

lol @ what you're telling people. more storylines and better plots...as well as acting...run thru brandon. kevin is cool, but he could bounce and the show keep moving, brandon is the life blood (as of now) and the character people generally care about/like the most
