I saw a theory on facebook that Reg would replace Brandon in the storyline and be the informant to help the police bring down Douda and 63rd st because they’re gonna convince him that Douda got him shot

I really hope that doesn’t happen

Im trying to see Reg boss up on the streets not become a rat because he got shot

I told Like 5 ppl who were saying they didn’t plan to watch the Chi next season because Brandon got the boot, they were like he’s the main character... what are they gonna do?? I tried to explain that Kevin was more the main character since he saw coogie killed & all the events rotate around that. But some people don’t listen....

I was telling folks the show was fine without Brandon... that he isn’t the main character & the show would be fine without him.

yeah Kevin has always been the main character

Hes the only one that’s connected to all the other characters in some way

They were definitely building Brandon up to be the main or one of the main characters though.Thats why they connected him with Emmett and 63rd street this season to kinda expand his role/storyline but he fukked that up

Let's hope he is the one brother on this show who gets his shyt together lol.

Dope finale. Damn shame eazy fukked it up. I have a feeling Jericka wasn’t gonna come back anyway so her “leaving” was prolly inevitable unless they thought we’d actual care about her solo story. Loved Kevin arc this season. The haircut and all was a nice lil way to show his growth. That big brother, lil brother dynamic he has with Brandon is gonna be missed. Emmitt out here being a good father to his favorite seed and baddest baby moms and it’s a good look, I guess lol. Dude need to go ahead and get a vasectomy though. shyt is getting outta hand. Don’t really care if reg is dead or alive. He was good for some laughs but too scum baggy for me. If that was CPS ol boy is either done on the show or douda gonna find a way to get him.

I won't lie Jericka antics were 100% on point, compared to shyt I dealt with in real life regarding educated professional women. Her antics were literally a carbon copy.

Damn near everything got wrapped up and none of the potential loose ends are interesting enough to make me really wanna see more, even though I'll prolly watch if a 3rd season does come out.

It's gotta suck for the all these talented young actors on the come up, to be associated with this fukkery.

Tbf the writer script needs some work. I mean the baseline theme is cool, but I could write a better episode then some of the shyt they put out.

Yeah Jerricka was already leaving the show before Brandon got fired

They said she had already asked out of her contract while they were filming season 2 and they granted her the release

His storyline is just boring af

His voice is the worst but I didn’t mind him that much in season 1 but you can tell they didn’t know what to do with his character this season

nikka got mad screen time and all he did was clean up a house,paint a building,fix a car,get drunk,and fukk up some guaranteed p*ssy

His storyline is so disconnected from the rest of the characters it feels like you’re watching a completely different show every time hes on the screen

I seriously don’t want to ever see his face or hear that whiney ass voice again

Not recasting Brandon makes no sense imo, dropping the character completely ruins the finale.

I wanna see the kids’ dynamic next season since all 3 might wind up in different schools (or at least Kevin in that North Side school). I could see Papa tryna join Kevin cuz he was getting frustrated with being at that school.


They need to make Tiff a regular character as that should be the quasi relationship that should replace Brandon and Jerrika.

They should definitely either recast Brandon or just bring him back. It's not like the Chi has a long shelf life or will get bigger popularity wise than it already has.

Also, I didn't mind Ronnie or his storyline

I would definitely end the show though.

My mama wanna get rid of that nikka too , she mad as fukk about Jason Mitchell doe, my og was really a fan since he played Easy in SOC.

I really hope they just write him off and makes that nikka go to meetings and shyt, if dawg is just too aggressive to the women on the staff, that could be fixed imo.

Lol when you put it that way I see why y'all don't like him but what about the conversation with Brandon in the finale? What about him trying to stay clean and making real progress though he fukked it up, but still. Sure his character was filler with all those back stories and shyt that didn't apply to the real story but imo he wasn't that bad.

They just got to figure out what they gonna do with him and the whole Muslim thing too.
