well done show but nothing really great

The way the season ended with the different cut scenes and how the music comes in reminds me of Power season finales. They need to write them kids out of season 2, they are annoying as hell.

Finale was cool. Really didn’t set up nothing must see for next season though and the only pay off was finding out what happen to the basketball player.

TBH, It SHOULD HAVE ended with Reggie pulling up on Brandon like "Nice truck..." would have been the perfect ending to the season but they did a mini montage that drew everything out and killed the momentum.

this show wants to be the Wire so bad.......when the song started playing as the stories were "resolved" I felt myself starting to throw up....
I'm upset because the show has some charm, and very interesting characters and I like it, but I hope it finds its own footing in season 2.
Power had its problems in season 1 too, but it got better.
