old lady pulled a shotgun on the cop
The kids dancing was terrible looooolThat party scene
I definitely understand why people that I know from Chicago don’t feel like this is an accurate representation of the city or the hoods.
Emmit baby mama fine asf low key. He’s going to have to hurt ole boy after he inevitably kicks over his sons pillow fort.
It's season 1 and they know they're getting season 2. Don't throw everything at us at once. This show is great, but it's more of a "hood show" with Chicago lingo and references put in than an actual show about Chicago, imo.
Some of it though should be chalked down on not doing research. You're telling me that there are no rap breh's in the South Side at all to include as a fictional character in the show(not talking about a cameo, but an original character). Also, the amount of gangs shown is not representative of South Side Chicago dynamics. There are only 2 gang crews mentioned in the show, when the South Side is literally filled with all different gangs, and the gangs start fighting with each other in the local middle school.

what would be the point of having a "rap breh"This show is great, but it's more of a "hood show" with Chicago lingo and references put in than an actual show about Chicago, imo.

also its not about the other gangs, its about how the events in the first episode effect the people around them
why do you want that to be in the show? You're telling me that in the South Side, there isn't one breh/brehette who wants to be a rapper/actor/model/promoter?
Emmit knows it too.
I dunno brethren ... for all of its randomness and weirdness and bits of incredibly poor writing , this shyt is so engaging and compelling .
