positive messages? on The Chi? The Black Mayor lives a double life as the leader of a violent street gang. A innocent kid was murdered over complete nonsense in the very 1st episode. I'm with you I don't see these positive messages....I see a lot of LGBT Agenda, Shea Butter talking points, emasculation of men.....That's what I'm seeing....Where was this positivity?

- jake and Jemma cheated/hooked up behind kevs back
- emmet and tiff dysfunctional open marriage
- Maisha got fame and dropped poppa
- emmet’s mom finally seems like she found someone and is two months from death with stage four cancer out of no where
- the mayor is a gangbanger openly sleeping with someone other than his wife who hates him
- I guess we should look at the perfect couple trig and imani are - disbanding trap houses one day at a time
Yet they kill the one character who was out building a legitimate business, chasing his dreams, with a once stable relationship with a well raised woman. This show is so positive
Edit: I have to add people have called out the negativity - no one here is enjoying/buying the idea of Douda being a mayor and also running a street gang, ordering hits on people
