Van Gundy basically telling Mike Breen "fukk your thoughts"

Mike Breen back peddling and backing down taking a softer tone in his voice during that convo

I like Mike Breen, but sometimes he placates to Corporate sentiments to not rock the boat, and always takes the Referee's side on everything

JVG just calling the BS out lol

Serious question Dubs fans. Why is it so hard to just say welp my team played like ass. On to the next one. Every game y’all lost this post season y’all go straight to bytching about the refs like the league has it out for the Warriors or something.

Be a bunch of 3pt chucking fakkits that cant get to the rim and foul alot, then be shocked at the ft disparity when you play against a team that dominates the paint and draws alot of fouls brehs. :mjlol:
The Warriors were the 3rd worst team in the NBA at fouling this season. But they wanna act shocked and confused when they're fouling away in the playoffs :mjlol:

THIS.

The Warriors averaged 5 fewer free throws than their opponents all season long, and that's with half the league being lottery teams. Now they're facing an elite team that excels in going inside and drawing fouls. That team knows the Warriors' weakness and are purposely going into the paint and forcing them to foul, and they're surprised what is happening?

All season long, the Warriors have proven they don't have any scorers who can draw fouls. All season long, the Warriors have proven they can't play defense without fouling. Now a team is taking advantage of that and their only counter is to complain like crazy and hope the refs give them the benefit of the doubt.

The idea that the league would side against one of their most popular teams with the biggest fanbase and most marketable star is hilarious. The fans don't even think this shyt through.

Warriors gonna have to shoot 60 threes in game 4.

They not getting more than 20 free throws in LA.

Nah chill breh, your boy LeBrick has gotten to handpick multiple stacked teams over the years and he always has the refs on his side. :wow:
Steph will never receive anywhere near the favoritism LeBron has gotten his entire career. :yeshrug:

It's been five years since Bron averaged more than 6.0 ft/game in any season, and 12 years since he averaged more than 7.7 ft/game, despite the fact that he lives in the lane and is hit as much as anyone in the league. Steph averages almost the same free throws as Bron the last four years despite not drawing contract at a fraction of the rate.

Why do y'all think you can just make shyt up and expect everyone will believe it?

I don't think anyone is saying they didn't.

You'll literally see folks saying how bad the team played, specifically talking about Klay, Donte, Dray, Poole etc. Y'all are only cherry-picking the complaints about the officiating because it suits the narrative y'all wanna push.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
•The Lakers started the season 12-16 (.429, ~35-win pace) before AD was hurt in December...

AD was out 20 games. LA was a ~35 win team with both Bron and AD playing most of their first 28 games. This shyt was just a little less than 5 months ago, when Davis got hurt everyone expected LA's season to be over, and if the law of averages held the Lakers would have been a below .500 team while AD was out...

•instead LA went 10-10 (.500, 41-win pace) during AD's absence, with LeBron going on an elevated heat check in Year 20. This burst while missing AD likely saved the Lakers season...

•AD gets back in late January, abd with he and LeBron both playing, they go 7-6 (.538, ~44-win pace) in their next 13. It was during this stretch they swapped the net negative players for Rui and the new gang that are contributing mightily at present...

•LeBron gets hurt, Lakers barely clinging to a play-in spot, and are once again in a situation without one of their two best players. LeBron is out 13 games and the Lakers go 8-5 (.615, ~51-win pace) with AD and The Gang...

•LeBron gets back for the home stretch and the Lakers, fully assembled but still gelling, go 7-2 (.778, ~64-win pace) to end the season...

•Lakers so far this postseason are 6-3 (.667, ~55-win pace)...

.......

LA is 25-11 (.694, ~57-win pace) since February 11. That's 3 months of basketball, 36 games, hell of a sample size compared to going 25-31 (.446, ~37-win pace) in the season's first 4 months. This is a tale of two seasons and it continues to mystify me when cats on here discuss the Lakers they completely ignore the run this team has been on for 3 months...

The '23 Lakers have continued to respond to adversity at every turn and dudes still don't believe in them...
