The championship is meaningless unless Brock Lesnar is holding it

Bad idea,....
In relation to the WWE cause the WWE will steer clear of any and all ped use and the performer being in a prominent championship flagship role.

Brock would have been the obvious choice to launch the new title.
Yet the WWE wants to move away from the part time title holder scheduled worker like hogun and it would be a step back as well.
If Brock came in and ran a re-run of his hogun like title run and ppv schedule.
As it sets a precedent to only watch raw part time.
Which can not be set or be the connotation, when re-launching a brand split with raw perceived as the main show.

Nikkas would rather have a champion never show up I guess :skip:

Pretty much.

I don't understand fans who whine and complain about how the roster is being treated, but then they want Brock Lesnar to bury the whole roster because somehow he's much more "special" than everybody else. Part of Brock's appeal is Paul Heyman. Paul is a talented promoter.

How does it benefit the product as a whole when one person is being elevated? This is the same argument people use against Roman, Cena, etc. :skip:

Yeah the title will become meaningful when someone wins it and stays off TV for long periods of time and comes back every 3 months for boring squash matches. :russ: Awful idea.
Hogan did it all the time before there was a Raw but he actually drew.

it's not about elevating any one person, it's about elevating the title.

nobody could do that right now better than brock can.

The belt is a prop, more or less... the wrestler isn't supposed to elevate the title, the title is supposed to indicate that the wrestler is top level.

People ain't buyin' tickets to see the belt, they buy tickets for the wrestlers and particularly the main eventers. The title doesn't really NEED Brock, nor does he NEED the title. He's one of the few who can legit headline with or without the title. So in the meantime, there's others who can hold those titles, Brock's good one way or the other. And at the same time, we got a Brock run last year that ran for 7 months and the only thing anyone remembers about it was the match when he won it and the night he lost it.

City of Angels :blessed:
all the more reason why he should be the one holding it.

he's the only one capable of putting over the next big star.

But in kayfabe, Brock doesn't care about the title. All he cares about is making money and hurting people. Most wrestlers want the title because it proves they are the best, Brock's character has already proven he's the best in UFC and WWE. The title doesn't represent anything to his character

The belt should be defended at least once a month. If lesnar has it and is never around it fukking might as well not exist

fukk prestige too. The belt is what it is. The top prize on its show, that every guy on the show wants. Who has it ain't changing that
