Rumor has it (according to Kyle) it was originally intended to be one winner, which Jenny won... So they switched up the rules to give the guys (aka Bananas or Cory, MTVs golden boys) a better chance at winning. The rumor holds some weight since this season was originally titled "battle for independence"
