Yep, and they'll be able to get them for cheap because they won't have an established value outside of WWE. Unless the talent refuse to re-sign before their contract expires and they can show WWE an offer sheet from AEW.

But they aren't going to do that until after at least one run on a WWE main roster contract, you'd have to really just fukking hate WWE to turn down getting promoted to the main roster and getting that money to live out your NXT contract so you can leave sooner. You know those NXT deals are cheap. It's not as bad as it used to be, but Sami Zayn said he made more money as an indie wrestler than he made in NXT. And that first main roster contract will be at a very WWE friendly price too because WWE will have all the leverage.

I just saw Bianca on a radio interview. She was raving about her feud with Sasha and said it needs to happen again.. it was just the tip of the iceberg she said.

I hope we see that feud rekindled down the line.

Well based on Mercedes comments appears there is plenty of opportunity there to do that and still wrestle in AEW, just saying

It is being reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson that both WWE (where Mone performed for over a decade as Sasha Banks) and AEW were both willing to commit to deals paying Mercedes “eight figures in total over the course of the deals” meaning tens of millions of dollars. Johnson added that Mone’s deal with AEW likely makes her the highest-paid women’s wrestler in the history of pro wrestling.
As Johnson continued, he wrote about how Mercedes Mone showed her business savvy by making the AEW deal because now she owns the copyrights for many things related to her name.

It's crazy if she managed to potentially get eight figures out of both companies because I don't think Charlotte or Becky are making that much. If I'm a top women's wrestler in WWE and my contract with WWE was coming up, I'd probably go free agent to see how much TK trying to offer, Charlotte probably could have gotten way more than what WWE just gave her.

The funny thing about this is the stans on social media keep saying that Kahn paid her too much just to rent her, when in reality, this just sets up these women to ask for a bigger bag from WWE as well.

I think Bayley resigned, but that's Becky, Bianca, and Stratton once those deals are up for negotiation.

I can see WWE going with that narrative, but all in all I think they didn't want to give her Charlotte/Becky money
