fukk is rose talkin about. You get the number 1 pick in the strongest draft in years. Love could just walk. Bennett as a throw in could pay off too

He'd walk... in a year. In the meantime, he'd still be playing for you.

Exactly, Dwight Howard was better and the Magic didn't get anyone with Wiggins potential

Orlando was trading their franchise player and blowing it up. Minny's doing neither.

I know. To me this is cleveland wildly overpaying for Love. To me the max he's worth is Waiters, Bennett, and 2 future 1s. I woulda never included Wiggins. Just look back at all the trades involving guys who are on the last year of their deals (Howard and CP3). Neither of those dudes fetched a prospect like Wiggins and those guys are lights years better than Love.

Minny pulled of a heist on this one. They're gonna be the team of the future. Wiggins, LaVine, Dieng, Shabazz, Rubio. Thats a damn nice core of players. And they'll suck again this year. If they can get lucky in the lottery,

Great point. Nobody ever said, hmm give Melo or AI 4 or 5 years and he may be a great player. You knew from day 1 they were gonna be great.

But who knew Kevin Love would put up 26/12 in the league?

Not to mention Bill Self's system kind of holds his players back imo.

Love was a better player than Wiggins in college. His UCLA stats are superior to Wiggins across the board.

Stop worrying about hype and look at the stats breh

The point is he puts up 26/12 NOW and even that took four years. The Cavs can win right now with LeBron. It would be foolish of Cleveland to skip Love, who's a sure thing, in the hopes of Wiggins panning out in a few years.

he had Wes Unseld comparisons coming out of college
he had Wes Unseld comparisons coming out of college
and that's fair , he's a terrific outlet passer and arguably the best rebounder in the league but some the hype wiggins was gettin maaaan Wtf.
I don't mean no harm but I don't even think he has the confidence to be that nikka..
If u 13-14 years old n bashful like that , u got time to grow into urself but between his raw skillset AND his lack of esteem .. I don't kno abt this nikka man.

if im a hater, u a dikkrider. Cuz Wiggins has shown me NOTHING. Please show me what he's shown right NOW at NINETEEN nikka... this Lebron at 19 in the NBA dropping 41 cuz he was the real deal and not some overhyped product of media. Mind you I want to see Wiggins do well...

Im just honest. I would love for there to be a new dope 2 guard to watch/ root for. I don't have a favorite team, im a fan of the sport. He's not all that... time will tell tho. But IMO he not the next Jordan/Bron like they were proclaiming and if u notice, they've cooled that talk down once everybody saw him actually play. Now he's the new Pippen... few years from now he'll prolly be the new Ron Mercer.

The Cavs already have a superstar, franchise player. They have another talented offensive perimeter player as well. They don't need Wiggins to be a superstar or anywhere near it. If he plays strong D and gets his points on the break and cutting they are good and they still have the flexibility to bring in a rim protection and they won't have to worry about paying him for 4 years. Conversely K. Love has to be prime Tim Duncan for this deal to truly be worth the Cavs while. People talk about 26 and 12. Well he's not gonna be scoring 26 ppg with Bron and Kyrie taking turns controlling the ball. His rebounding would be valuable but frankly you should be able to get rebounding production like that out of Thompson and Bennett combined for a fraction of the price. That's what people are overlooking here. You bring in Love and you have 90% of your cap room tied up in 3 guys with no interior presence and only one perimeter defender. There are two sides to the court and once you have not only one but two capable offensive options your focus should be surrounding them with defense.
