That's a robbery so bad that getting Wiggins becomes pointless. Dealing the other two young prospects worth shyt ON TOP of dealing Love for two guys that won't be on the team in a year in Waiters and Bennett is stupid. Doesn't even need to be said

Exactly...that's the only way I think a Love trade is logical for us.

Miami lost in 2011 because lebron didnt show up and 2014 because they couldn't defend a chair... Not depth

SA was able to come at the Heat in flurries because of their depth. They'd could keep it cranking no matter who was on the court.

I will take depth, shooting, coaching, defense, youth, athleticism, and experience over having 3 stars (especially Irving and Love who are inept defensively) any day of the week.

why is this even a discussion ?

keep wiggins on the rookie deal

tell the cavs you're best offer is Waiters, Bennett, 2 1sts and just move on

Wonder how much Horford or Brook Lopez are worth trade wise.

Spurs got the GOAT coach and GOAT PF.

Bad comparison. They turn D league players into starters. No other franchise can do that

EDIT: First take shytting on Wiggins by the way. Skip said he will be a bust and stephen a said he has no handles and can't shoot. Both said make the trade.

You don't have to listen to the White Man to agree with me. Wiggins flaws are very obvious. What he does well from a skill standpoint (step back, spin to the left) an easily be game planned against. What he doesn't do well (shoot, handle, disappearing, finish in the half court) are major flaws that simply won't be overcome in an off season.

I mean, look at those flaws. The fact you dudes just gloss over them and keep saying this guy is a future star is hilarious to me. :laff:

I keep telling you him and LeBron don't complement each other and some of you nikkas just don't care.

Bu..bu.. but I bet him and LeBron will be a dope duo on 2K15 tho :sas2:

So you'd rather wrap 60-65 percent of your cap space in Kyrie and Kevin Love for the next 6 years? Two players who don't play defense and need the ball in their hands to play their best basketball? Two players that battle injuries every year? Two players that have never been to the playoffs?

Would you rather have 65% of your cap tied in Kyrie Tristan (up for an ext in '15) Varejao (up for re-up in '16)?

Your argument is weak because Kyrie and LeBron make up 50% of the cap by themselves.

End of the day you win with a Love over Tristan + Wiggins + filler

He's gonna be 3rd option at best. He's not gonna have to create his own offense. The defense won't be able to key on him. The flaws that are being glossed over are Love's. A PF that gives you nothing on terms of defense on the interior and isn't really a post up threat on offense. He's a less athletic, less durable, superior rebounding Chris Bosh. None of the "they gotta get Love so they can start rattling off titles right now" crowd has explained to me how a team featuring Kyrie and Love without an elite rim protector stops anyone. Wiggins may or may not pan out but at the very least they would still have options and flexibility. They don't even need him to be the superstar he was predicted to be. Love on the other hand would need to be Tim Duncan circa 02 for this deal to be worth it.

So with Love that would be what 80%? Which means that (much like MIA) you would be looking to 3 guys for everything. Tristan and Wiggins and filler have just as many trips to the playoffs as Love.

Kevin Love doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. He averaged 20/15 while Kurt Rambis refused to draw up plays for him

You really think they're going to stop at Tristan and Wiggins? Especially since Tristan is due for an extension soon, the filler will be Waiters or Bennett, not salary.
