Can't have a discussion it's just matter of fact, nikka you sound like a female :russ:

How many times you gonna have the same season in a row where you ain't winning shyt before some shyt needs to change? Never said Tomlin wasn't a great coach, but sometimes you've done all you can do at a place.

Ain’t winning shyt? 10-12 wins a season isn’t winning shyt? Look at his fukkin roster. He turns shyt to sugar. What the fukk is he supposed to do with Trubisky, Rudolph & Pickett?

What coach in 2024 wins a Super Bowl with a mid QB?

Tomlin wanted Pickett, bad. Ask Steeler fans if they’re hanging banners for winning 10 games a season or if they’re tired of the same result every year.

shyt maybe if they lost a few more games they could have a good enough draft pick to get a decent QB.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Cowher went to a Super Bowl with Neil O'Donnell at QB and won playoff games (including a trip to the AFC championship game) with Tommy Maddox , Kordell Stewart and Mike Tomczak. Cowher didn't have a franchise QB until Ben was drafted in 2004.

Tomlin inherited Big Ben in his prime, won a Super Bowl immediately, went back a few years later and IMO has underachieved since. The non-losing season streak is nice, but with the talent the Steelers have had since 2007 (on both sides of the ball) it feels like they should have at least another championship to show for it.
Different era breh. The QB’s you listed are getting shyt on by Mahomes and Allen just like Rudolph, Pickett, and Trubisky are now

Tomlin just needs to hire better offensive coordinators/coaches. He kept Matt Canada for longer than he needed to.

The Steelers fanbase is so spoiled. I'd kill to have franchise stability for 20+ years and always being in contention :francis:
Tomlin isnt in charge of the hiring and firing. Thats what people keep missing here

Our seasons play out usually as this

-String together some wins
-Consecutive losses
-Take a L to a team we have no business losing to
-Scramble towards the end of the season to barely get into the playoffs
-Get our asses kicked in our first game where we are giving up an average of 40 pts in our last 5 playoff appearances:damn:
Facts. The point that gets me the maddest is the losing to teams we have no business losing too. Even though if I look at enough logically we are not that much better than some of the bottom feeders.

That three game stretch in December was brutal and typical. Losing to 2 2-10 teams at home and a beatable Colts team was mind numbing. Those three games would have had us fighting for the top seed with the Ravens at the end of the year. Instead we are playing The Bills in their home.

I dont think Steelers organization ever went this long without winning a playoff game. The Steelers! This is like the Yankees not winning playoff games. Its just expectations. Tomlin a great coach and works his ass off. Its just something missing in the playoffs .Its impressive he can take Trubisky,Rudolph and Pickett to the playoffs. Those QB's belong in an expansion draft.

Yeah they should 100% move on from the stability and legacy he provides.

More organizations need to be like my commanders and treat the coach position like it’s gig work. Get a new guy every time you place an order.

As 2024, 21 NFL TEAMS have had their Head Coach for 3 years or less and 7 of those teams currently have vacancies.

Steelers have had 3 coaches since 1969 including Tomlin. No other organization provides that level of stability.

Why the fukk would he leave Pittsburgh to coach for these short sighted, fairweather, incompetent organizations?

If he leaves Pittsburgh for another team in this violatile coaching market he'll be out the league in 3 years.
