Nah...I'm not an AVID watcher of the game like you and your people but this was a clear cut boxing lesson put on a judo specialist...and I thought Ronda had the Absolute wrong game plan while Holly was flawless in her execution. Those are my two key points of the whole fiasco.

What gameplan could ron have used? This is damn near the same gameplan she always uses, it just usually works because she's fighting waitresses and soccer moms
People just need to admit she's a one dimensional fighter who got gassed up because she fought jobbers

Yeah I keep reading people say that Rhonda should have went for the takedown and not tried to stand with her. She got one takedown and couldn't keep Holm down. Then she got stuffed on the next one. Holm shut her clinch/ground game down

Hilarious how Holm never even had to initiate herself at any point in the fight.

I always feel that in Women's MMA, KOs mean that a fighter has been checkmated - rather than in men's where a flash KO is really just part of showing no weaknesses ever. Holm's hands ain't even that heavy (you can't just train up and get KO power, especially not at her age) but she was spoonfeeding Ronda that left all night. Ronda didn't even understand the champ rule book. If shyt gets rough, make them come to you and beat the champ.

Like... there was so much shyt WRONG with Ronda's approach to this entire fight that it almost overshadow's Holm's cooking display.

That's the point..she rushed in. She doesn't have to..she came in stalking like she was Tyson and wore herself out..I know u dudes want to think she's a push over but she's an Olympic medalist...she should of known better than to try to rush and throw hands with a real boxing champion....great boxers know how to use a ring and set up feints. She got handled because of that.

Oscar gave Holms alot of credit in the little special...thats why I asked everyone Friday night.."do u have any respect for Holly and her accomplishments"? Everyone was being sarcastic and saying she wasn't some elite boxer..one dude c/s her here on Friday and the other dude who bet on her. Everyone else kept on talking about Mayweather this and Mayweather that...now she's getting credit a day late.
