Ronda don't want that rematch or at least shes contemplating whether or not to have it. Another loss would basically take a shyt on her career.

She got exposed... bottom line. She was literally fighting fitness models, none of them were as accomplished as Holms is and it was disrespectful despite boxing being the more difficult sport IMO... more difficult to learn and definitely more difficult to excel in.

So people are happy that Ronda loss because she and Dana been talking shyt and disrespecting the sport of boxing for years... it wasn't just her hypocritical statements about Mayweather, wanting to fight him, etc.

Holly used basic boxing techniques to make Ronda look stupid simple as that really. Holly also has faced bigger, harder hitting females than Ronda ever has along with having a GREAT MMA team/camp that trained and supported her for years...

PLus when I saw this I knew Ronda's only real chance was for that fukking armbar...

Her boxing technique is even light years ahead of Jon Jones... The REAL monster in MMA. no way Ronda was going to compete with that just hitting the mitts or sparring with ex-boxers that take it easy on her

People laugh at Roger when he simply states, "most people don't know shyt about boxing". They call Floyd boring cause they legit have no clue what they are watching. I watched Floyd say GGG was "straight up and down, no special effects". I have a feeling his master class will commence soon as well. Selling boxing as a "take 2 to land 1" sport is what makes the HBO crew, Oscar, etc lame to me. They're irresponsible with their narratives and it's killing the sport. And the true irony is I'm hearing praises about Holly's footwork, defense, controlling the range, counter punching, conditioning, and sticking to her game plan......basically all the things that make Floyd "boring".
She basically did everything Floyd does and just added takedown defense, leg kick to thigh, an elbow, and a side kick for the TKO

Holly Holms looks like she is Amy Schumer's uglier :scust:prettier :patrice:uglier :scust: sister.

Okay, let me address another thing

Ronda doesn't have any kind of footwork. She has never had to chase down anyone with a plan in her life.

The boxing > or < mma shyt can't be used in this fight at all because Ronda clearly doesn't understand even the most general basics of MMA. Head movement, cutting people off, feints, none of it. Holly's boxing experience wasn't really the main thing on display here. Ronda was getting hit with fighting for dummies. There was no amazingly technical combination display or anything like that. Ronda got hit with basics.

Couldn't get around a lead foot, no grasp of levels, range illiterate

this was basics

and that's why the loss was so bad

She understands it, she just has been beating ppl for so long she started to believe she doesn't need it.
Its like what happens to NBA centers. If you can breeze by with dunking on ppl you eventually neglect your handles and freethrow shooting. You understand the principals of both at a high level... you just give zero fks anymore and your answer to anybody stepping out of pocket becomes posterize them... its bad habbits not a lack of worldclass training.

Sadly, and yes sadly she is worthy of those awards. Look how many pages this thread is Goin. Look at the level of hate she gettin from all sides, I can't remember the last female athlete that brought this much attention to any sport.

I luv my Serena but only blacks support her, the tennis white community don't push her or market her even half as much as Ronda gets. Danica Patrick maybe is the closest for a female athlete who was heavily marketed as Ronda, and she never even won a damn race at that point. Ronda at least was at the top of her craft.
Now let's see if she's a tru champ who can come back after gettin her ass kicked. I remember GSP after that loss to Serra came back stronger than ever for a great run in ufc history. Time for Ronda to put up or shut up now. This is what fighting is all about, seeing how ppl respond to adversity and if they can come back stronger.

She is not worthy of this award, he career started in 2011,she hasn't been successful long enough to be called the greatest ever or the most anything

that is the point you moron, all hype, don't even compare GSP

sierra got lucky with lucky ass kick, he didn't out skill GSP, it was a fluke

Also this fight also refutes the big myth that "boxers cant make it in MMA"...

Holly Holm isn't just some boxer who came over and tried MMA for the first time. She has been kickboxing for years, and training with Jackson-Wink for 15/16 years so you would assume she's been trading amongst MMA stars and probably doing training with them for years.

Didn't she beat Misha Tate? :dahell:

being champ of a shyttier league, doesn't put her on the level of rhonda

take mma out of it... none of these women were champs of shyt... except rhonda

the moment she faced another champ... of something other than mma... none of that bullshyt was working out

like people were saying.. she was fighting bullshyt fighters... with no resume of any importance BEFORE mma.

meanwhile..... holly holm's resume....

No. There was a way because Royce Gracie used to do it all the time but he stayed to his strengths and took fukkers down..no striking and standing. Ronda thought she could mix it up with a 19x boxing champion...she was legit. She should of known better and her cardio was bad..having too much sex...partying...something. way too tired after the first round.

I still haven't seen the whole fight (just aight the result as I was getting on a plane) but I did see Dana say Rondas mouth was wide open and she might have broken her jaw in the first minute or 2 of the fight. I have no doubt Holly could have done that, I've been telling everyone I know that if Holly uses her footwork and boxing she could open up the head kick and if that comes then it was lights out for Ronda.

Ronda doesn't like to get hit, if you've seen previous fights you know that so pair that up with Holly who is probably the most decorated striker in the UFC even amongst the men then you know she's gonna pick Ronda apart. Rondas only hope was getting in close and getting a good throw but Holly used her jab well and kept her at a distance and used her footwork to frustrate the hell out of Ronda who is super gassed from her camp and half the world telling her how great she is. If Miesha had a way to defend the throws she probably would have beat Ronda before.

I can't wait to watch the whole fight. i wonder how Ronda is going to come back from this, hopefully humbled and actually showing some respect for her opponents.
