It doesn't take a genius to see his vision. He got the job, told the owner it's not gonna work with what's there and they needed to tear it down to the foundation and build from scratch.

He needed to get off Beal's contract and with KP he had no leverage. To be honest, with Beal's no trade clause they didn't have a lot of leverage there either.

That's mostly why they've gotten so little back but for people to act like they couldn't have gotten a couple more picks is funny to me. I think he could have got more.

The thing is, everyone had this vision. And anybody could have done this.

None of this shyt is impressive.

Washington is deadass trading every remotely valuable asset they have and not getting a single first-round pick.

They wanna tank and rebuild. With what? One lotto pick per year and a bunch of bad contracts? How the hell they managed to not get a single pick in both deals? Did OKC finally get all the picks like Thanos? Make it make sense

This is just malpractice at this point, they don't even have an excuse for this one. :snoop:

fukk them picks..Both of them are low firsts. We needed to replace Dillons perimeter defense and did that by adding the best perimeter defender in the league to go with this years defensive player of the year. We also needed someone with leadership (obviously) and playoff experience. We are young enough, it was known the front office was looking to move picks for legit players.

i got the breh you responded to ignored, but based on your reply i can tell he was talkin bout the FRPs. People whining over the trade of the picks like they're lotto or mid round picks. The 2023 pick is #25, at best you're getting a rotation player, but it's far more likely it'll be a guy who's out of the league in 3 years. I like the trade for all 3 teams

Him hitting a clutch shot means little to me because the bricks he threw up prior probably contributed to why they were down to begin with

He’s a championship role player in theory
Smart isn’t taking that many shots to say that

He’s not the one keeping y’all from winning

I mean, the guy's been on the job 3 weeks. At least he's got a brain in his head and knows you weren't winning shyt with Bradley Beal on a supermax, Porzingis making 35 mil, Kuzma and spare parts :pachaha:

He gets high marks for realizing it's a complete unsalvageable disaster in Washington and needed to be blown up immediately. I'm not a Wizards fan but I'd have high hopes. Yeah - they'll be shytty for the next couple years, but what was the alternative? Winning 40ish games and struggling to make the play in? They were already shytty :mjlol:

"We don't think the Wizards fukked up too bad in this deal..."

As much as we clown Presti and the OK Picks for having more picks than roster slots for the next 100 years, he at least gets assets that would make a rebuild possible if that franchise's owner wasn't Mr. Krabs.

The Lizards went into this offseason with 3 respectable assets.

Beal's value was shot because the previous GM was a fukking idiot and gave him an NTC Supermax, but to say that the Voltron Sons couldn't make that a 3-team deal to get them some picks off them or hang up the phone and keep Beal until there's a better deal is laughable.

Knickstaps CoreWeakness landed them a bunch of people that don't even fit their timeline and are likely going to be traded sooner or later. There were two FRPs involved in that deal and the Wizards didn't get even one of them.

They still have Kuzma. Realistically, what do you think this pushover GM will get?

This guy is just doing an atrocious job.

Kuzma a free agent. I doubt they bringing him back.

Saw on dc local station that the only guaranteed salary’s they have next season is Gafford, Ksipert and Davis. And they can pretty mouth move Gafford at will of they want too. Wizards rt themselves up good for the future. They might be incompetent but they’ve gotten out of two bad contracts without a scratch( wall and Beal). They even got from under westbrooks
