Smart's irrational overconfidence is what made him so good for the Celtics. Yeah he had his warts but I think he'll be missed.

Maybe his stans will miss him, I’ve seen enough hero ball 3s, bullshyt flops, and behind the back passes to the opposing team to last a lifetime

Majority of this forum doesn't watch Celtics games. They see the highlights of Marcus Smart "showing heart" rallying from being down 15, not knowing Marcus Smart was the main reason the Celtics were down 15 in the first place

This is why as players you need to have a selfish mentality. He clearly loved playing in Boston and they shipped him off without even a call. That loyalty shyt in sports only works out in a few instances.

He was on the trading block for like 4 years. He was damn near on a plane before the re-up.

Why can’t they get any 1sts in these trades

The Celtics got 2 for Marcus Smart but we can’t get 1 for Beal or Porzingis?

For the Wizards to acquire Tyus Jones and an early second rounder for someone who could have just gone up and left in free agency is a major win. People are ignorant to the Porzingis situation. He could have just opted out and hit free agency. Clearly the trade also a win for Celtics.

Caruso may be available if they want to get a lot of what Smart provided without the fear of him going hero ball in the clutch. Just a thought...

He was barely healthy for playoff but he won them a finals game and was the most dominant player in a finals game in that game 1. Rob and Grant Williams not doin that and they was 49-15 when he played in the regular season and playoff combined. Worked out
