Did anybody read the NY times article about his son? It actually shows his naivety. Wealth and connections can only go so far in America for a black man.

I respect his book, but I don't like the limitations it showed to join the upper echelon of black elite.
Steve Cokely was spot on in terms of this. Bobby Hemmitt made some points in his exegesis on this subject that i don't necessarily agree with.

I perfectly understand why a person's opinion on the book may have aggravated you but that is no reason for the mod to shut down a thread.
Smh not aggravated what you doing is assuming now and your off in doing so. You should go back and re-read my post. The 1st comment that i made within this thread in relation to your response above. What i stated was in general reference to the Boule and isn't necessarily aim in regards to the book. Also i stayed "move" and that doesn't mean shut down OR delete.

Smh you don't know what he's going to because You don't know the next man intentions. Also you cant take this notion and paint all mods with this same brush. Not wise. And whether or not it's a thread from whatever date, regardless of when it was created subjects like this are universal in terms of black consciousness. Think of all the so-called repeat threads quote unquote. So whether i talk about it or the next person its going to be discuss in length or be it minuscule. But we all see what direction you take
