Me even workin for Tucker was the height of irony cuz I was a huge Pac stan back then and I didn't fukk with her. Did your mom work at the Silver Spring office? Cuz that's where I worked for her during high school. If your moms was Dr. Battle then she hated my fukkin guts. I remember at the bottom drawer of this wide file cabinet in the main office it was one big ass file that was dedicated to gangsta rap. The shyt was just one label, and endless files and documents stuffed inside to the brim. She took me and my friends to her office and showed us a pic with her and AI and the way she explained it her and Stern basically flexed on AI to make him not drop that rap album the year he was MVP. I was pissed when she told us cuz I remember that 40 barz joint when it dropped on PGC so I was jy interested to see how tough the album was gonna be.
In hindsight I wish I had talked to her and gently debated her on it but at the same time I needed the job for community service hours, plus her husband was payin us and gettin nikkaz Popeyes so I wasn't gon rock the boat. Besides, I was nowhere near ready to debate C.Delores Tucker on somethin she was so passionate about. She was a sweet lady tho, I just disagreed wholeheartedly with her. You just could tell by certain shyt some of them would say that there was an opinion about poorer folks, I think that's why Dr. Battle ain't like me cuz when Dr. Tucker wasn't around me and my nikkaz acted more like ourselves so that might've rubbed her the wrong way.
Yeah hate might be a strong word but I definitely feel the same way as you. It's one thing to be upper middle class or wealthy, its the elitist attitude that puts me off. I've been to the slums of Africa and America because I have family in those places so snobbish behavior makes me sick. I don't want to go on no crusade to eliminate them tho or something, that's hate.
