Kinda how I see it.

Remember everyone needs a boogie man to push their agenda.

Not saying there hasn't been some elite blacks that have sold out blacks. But to roll all elite blacks over the course of history as some arch enemy of poor and middle class blacks is outlandish.

Kinda reminds me how these black conspiracy theorist label all black Masons as part of the illuminati and shyt.

Like a Black Mason Lodge in Kosciusko Mississippi (with a bunch of members who work offshore and at the local chicken plant) out here trying to make plans to take over the world.....:laff::laff::laff:

All masons are illuminati, but all illuminati are not masons. Boule are semi-masonic and possibly crypto-jews or reptilian.

They could be putting CHEMTRAILS in that chicken! What are they doing offshore? WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?

Tariq had a dude who grew up in Ithat shyt call in on his show a couple weeks ago to discuss his experience growing up (at the 31:58 mark):

The caller was spot on. I echo all of his sentiments. What was interesting to me was that I never really thought that black families like mine were out of the ordinary. All the black folks we knew or socialized with were just like us. I also never really realized how deep some of these mentalities ran. Like when the caller mentioned about how his whole church congregation was greek affiliated and into colorism, same shyt applied to the church I grew up in Chicago.

In fact, I dug up this old picture of my church and shyt was just blatant. Never really paid attention to it before though.

Just look at the pics of the founding members of these organizations.

I'm watching an old episode of Tariq's Ustream show from last year & he mentioned the 1994 movie "The Inkwell" starring Larenz Tate & Jada Pinkett heavily features the upper-class affluent Black Society in that movie.

I never seen the movie, so I'll check it out.

Recent movies like Jumping the Broom and that movie with Sanaa Lathan, Something New, explores the same concepts, probably better than Inkwell, but it's been a long time since I've seen it.

I don't know why I clicked on this thread, but the first article was helpful in my understanding, and the second article was a load of horseshyt championed as an "alternative opinion."
There is no Black upper-middle/upper class "selling us out" there are simply wealthy Black people in the US doing what wealthy people in every country, on every continent do: congregating with other wealthy people.
The conspiracies that surround the boule and the Black upper-middle class seem far more concerned with tearing them down, than in enlisting them to help with grassroots and local campaigns to improve the lives of Black Americans, and I hate that.

The Boule is also a continuation of the inner divide between the previous generation of lighter-shade blacks who were also prodigious slave owners, against their more darker-hued brethren. During Reconstruction, when our people literally owned/ran the South socially and politically when federal troops were still quartered there (which was a major cause of European hatred and violent insurrection/takeover after the troops left), this intra-African American enmity surfaced as socio-political strife that fostered a disunity that helped the cause of white supremacy's retaking of key southern cities and suppression of black political power
No.
Redemption happened, terrorism resurfaced, and the Black elite was crushed, alongside every other class of Black Americans.
This "strife" has absolutely nothing to do with any of that.
Really the only statistic that matters:
"It is estimated that 80 percent of upper class blacks own their own homes.[25] This is compared to 66 percent of those earning more than $50,000 and 52 percent of those who earn between $30,000 and $49,999 in income."
