Nah its the Masses craving for destruction is what thrives shyt like this... Cae and point... Look at the numbers for Gucci Mane's The Truth

Look at his numbers for Dissing the Dead where he took accountability and admited his role in the ignorance and wants to change

The bottom line is People love chaos, dysfunction, beef, drama, bullshyt. As long as people buy into the fukkery the Culture will continue to feed it. Its why ShadeRoom, Vlad, Akademiks, Adam 22 and them stay getting richer. And not to mention in this country and especially our community is ran and dominated by women so men do all sorts of shyt to appease their thrill(Taking penitentiary chances, Scamming, Rapping, Dope selling, Gang banging, Partake in a playboy lifestyle) or else they get left out. The minute Men stand up and make it cool to get a job, Make it cool to be a regular guy or make it cool for or being standup individuals is where you will see changes

I hear you but truth has been out almost 10 years vs the other song that just came out so the numbers are gonna be way different

Y’all bytch made fakkits are intentionally missing the point. I haven’t seen anybody on here talking bout we should wait for the white man to fix our problems, all poor people are deviants, protect the criminals.

1% of the black population are criminals it’s not the purge when you walk outside. All some of us are saying is there are real underlying issues that we need to fix if we want to move forward as a people and it has nothing to do with canceling rap music or over incarceration.

I’d bet real money none of you mfers that are so up in the arms about the youth are willing to go mentor any of them. You fakkits live in a bubble and judge from the comfort of your laptop. The irony of this thread is that it was started over a rapper’s death that promoted the streets. Why do y’all even care? Don’t you hate rap music? Wasn’t he just a glorified thug that should be cleansed from our society?

This isn’t true
Black Americans can become a global super power in under an 100 years
Global super power?!? You can’t do that without your own country. Staying in Amerikkka and trying to achieve that is like an abused woman staying with her abuser and expecting him to let her run the house. In under 100 years, you’d have to create a world class military, be advanced in sciences, have world class medical facilities, modern infrastructure and buildings, a space program of some sort, full control of any precious natural resources to sell to the world, and most importantly the PEOPLE with the smarts and level headedness to run a country without corruption and the people willing to follow and support the build-up of said country. You expect all of this in less that 100 years from a group of people that would start shooting at a little league game just because a coach didn’t put their kid in.

Ok number one there is no black community.

2: we are held hostage by white supremacy 1st and foremost.

3. This gang shyt street shyt whatever is out of control because the OG’s got locked up for life during the previous crime bill.

4. Crack

5. Unwed single moms.

6. Poverty

7. Poor schools and antiquated teaching methods.

8. Social media is demonic

Why do people act like the “enlightened OGs” really weren’t just guys fighting over blocks, selling crack, raping broads with innocent kids getting hit in the crossfire with MC Ren playing in the back?

lol

I agree it’s not productive for children to consume that kind of music when a lot of kids in our community don’t have a strong support system to show them it’s all bullshyt but at the end of the day music is music. White Americans are the largest consumers of rap by far and they don’t have the same issues our community has. Violence in our community was worse before rap for the 100th time. So what was the excuse for the crime then? Was it that damn jazz music? The solution isn’t a ban on rap, its education and financial literacy and it’ll take generations to fix because it took generations to get us here.
The problem is the lyrics. The beats are good. It’s the lyrics that poison our minds. Words have power, and words being repeated over and over in our heads, along with negative images, and no positive role models are a problem.

Agreed. Matt had a good response to this. I don’t think music is harmless I just don’t think it’s the leading cause in the violence we see today. Instead of banning music we should focus on stressing education, financial literacy, group economics, voting in blocks, healthy nutrition, etc. Rap is a symptom not a cause.
