Because the interviewer was trash. What's more likely, the interviewer misheard Reeves when he said he turned in parts of the script to WB or they trying to make Reeve's trilogy part of DCU when it's been reported it's Elsewords from Day 1.

What you are saying doesnt even make sense. They have their own plans for DCU Batman already with Brave and the Bold. So are you saying there will be two batmans in the DCU?

If they cancel the Brave and the Bold, then I can see them absorbing Reeves shyt. Until then it seems unlikely :yeshrug:

These interviews are recorded and played back again when the articles are going to be written.

So you're saying the interviewer first misheard what Reeves said.

Then misheard again when they played back the audio to write up the article? Come on breh :mjlol:

I think it makes zero sense to have two Batman movies/series at the same time and The DCU needs a Batman. So one has to go :yeshrug:.

The Brave and Bold has been put on hold indefinitely. I think The Batman was good, same with Penguin but the movie wasn't like The Dark Knight or Joker in that it won a bunch of awards and neither was it a financial juggernaut. I don't see Reeves being allowed to hold these movies up on his own accord. He's not Chris Nolan.

More and more im starting to think the Reeves Batman is going to get attached to the dcu like people thought Nolan Batman was back in the day. They can find a way to make it work. This brave and the bold shyt I don't see happening. Two Batman's at the same time is possible but ehh has that ever been done before as far as superheros? Sony has the rights to use spiderman whenever they please, they have access to different versions they can use yet they haven't because I assume they don't wanna get in the way of Hollands version. So it's possible but not likely. So that means on the other hand we will have to wait for this brave and the bold for how long? Probably 5 years at the minimum if they let Reeves finish his trilogy. Can they go 5 years without Batman? I'm personally tired and burned out of Batman but I can't deny that he is the money maker of Wb.

You don’t have to have two Batmans at the same time. If you let Reeves finish his trilogy quickly then you drop a new Batman in the interconnected universe there would be no issue. Thing is that Reeves is moving at a snails pace. Really if he had mapped out a timeline as to when his trilogy would be concluded and the release date of the next two films things would have been simpler.
