Was about to jump on this but it's PC only, they sometimes have console codes. Be aware it's not the full game (no zombies)If anyone interested in black ops 4, humble bundle got a special. Don't know how legit this is. Might sign up and then cancel before the month is up to get the game.

Why the hell do gaming headsets have to be so complicated?
I have the sony golds and the xbox one stereo headset. Both work well but lately I've wanted to upgrade and get something that works with PS4 and XB1 and has better audio quality than the previous 2 headsets I mentioned.
My wife got me a set of Astro a40s with the m80 mixamp for xbox one.
The audio sounded great on xbox through the m80 mixamp that goes on the bottom of the controller but on ps4 the volume was about 50% what it was on xbox.
I go to best buy and swap them out for another set of Astro A40s but this time, I get the one that doesn't have the mixamp at all and is marketed to work on all consoles and PC.
I plug it into the bottom of the PS4 controller and the audio quality is great, but the volume is still low as hell. At max volume I can still clearly hear people next to me in the room talking at a normal volume over the game audio.
I do some research and apparently these headphones are really only meant to be used with a mix amp (which amazon has for $150 by itself but it's cheaper to buy the bundle that includes it).
Fine, I do some more digging and find that these mixamps are console specific, so I would have to buy the bundle for one console, and the mixamp separately for the other console.
Why in the blue hell is it so difficult to buy one headset that works with both consoles??? ESPECIALLY when I'm using WIRED headsets?
Sony golds are great for PS4. I can't recommend them enough.Ion know fam, I'm still trying to get good wireless one.

@Ciggavelli what do you think about this?Sony golds are great for PS4. I can't recommend them enough.
Thing is, I want one headset that works with both consoles. For that purpose, I'm fine with getting a wired set since that would be simpler...at least it should be...but I'm learning that it apparently isn't since every modern company in this market wants to nickle and dime consumers for adapters and proprietary hardware for the simplest of things.
