No, unfortunately I haven’t. I think the different functionality of each system won’t allow it. I haven’t checked recently though. Perhaps there is some sort of attachment that can be substituted out when using each system, but I haven’t seen one. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help
I went ahead and returned the second set of Astro A40's (which I hated doing because I felt a little guilty about returning it knowing the store would lose a bit of money by having to sell it as an open box item but screw it).
I copped the A40 bundle with the new Mix Amp pro. The xbox one model was the only one in stock so I just went ahead and got it. Based on what I've read online, the easiest, and "cheapest" way to do it would be to just buy one bundle for the xbox and buy the mixamp by itself for the PS4.
So! After a few days of headache going back and forth to the store to get this right I can finally say I landed on an amazing headset.
The mixamp definitely takes things up several levels in terms of quality and overall volume.
If you're going to get an Astro headset, don't bother getting it without a mix amp. The difference isn't even fair.
The build quality of the set is great, they're light, the audio quality is fantastic, and the volume is great (at max they can feel too loud many times).
