Wearing Lions gear when it wasn't cool
Welp, I was waiting till I got my promotion to CFO to treat myself to something nice. However, my supervisor isn't retiring till late 2026 and since these tariffs are about to jump off next year, I figured I'd speed up the timeline of the purchase.

Will cost me 2 racks. Much better than paying 3-4 in coming years.
Wondering how much that switch 2 going to hit for now.
If Amazon acts right, I'll get it by the weekend.
So, what I've done for years is get gaming gift cards for the overwhelming majority of my purchases from Speedway gas stations. Xbox, PSN, Gamestop and now primarily Steam as it builds up my points to get free cards over time. I was in the process of literally clicking buy yesterday on Amazon till I said, why don't I purchase this via gift cards from Speedway. So, off to Speedway I go after work today. One thing I didn't know is that at the Speedway I was, the max denomination is $100 per Amazon card. So, I had to get 20 $100 cards and another for the remainder of the purchase. Also, I came with cash because I didn't want my card getting denied by anything from my bank or the gas station. I learned that the maximum order for these cards was $2000 as well. Speedway officials called right after I did my transactions to inquire about it being legit. I know, it's an oddity of a purchase.
However, I got $64 worth in reward points, so I figure that this endeavor was worth the trouble.
So, I spent $2031.93 at the gas station, lol.
I get it Saturday. I'm excited. My son has me traveling all over the place this weekend for his basketball games so my time will be limited with it, but I'll give it a run through, nonetheless.
