the NYSE put the trading halt on those stocks, it wasn't just GME,AMC, and was a bunch of other ones too and the halt only lasted until the afternoon

Robinhood, Charles Schawb, TD amirtrade, did raise the margin requirements for people buying those stocks, so they couldn't buy more unless they deposited more money in their brokeage accounts, which they have the right to do at any time since they allowing you to leverage their money and buy these shares, and if people started selling those stocks, they wouldn't have enough to cover the margin call

so when they couldn't buy any more stocks cacs got mad, because they didn't understand what they were doing, so they stirrup the up roar

fines RObinhood had to pay are due to fact they don't screen people before they approve them for margin accounts, and it's designed to biat morons to use these tools because they get greedy and think they can get rich quick without putting up their own money

and the app is janking, the white boy killed himself becuase he thought he owed them 700,000 or some shyt but it was an error, that;s mainly why they had to come out that bread
