CRYING :dead:
One post is not like the other. I’ve mentioned holding GME along with my AMC position. How does selling half of a sizable AMC position (I haven’t) equate to “jumping,” a term that carries the connotation of abandonment, escaping, exiting and other synonyms for leaving something.

Investors/Traders are supposed to be immune from panic and FUD. These last 15 or so pages hasn't demonstrated that ethic or confidence....

Invest what you are willing to part with and turn off your stock Apps to keep your sanity.

HF won't go down without a fight...We know this...

Yup, dudes stuck watching the price and hanging on to every tweet or comment. It’s all noise.

You know why you got in, in the first place if that has not changed then neither should your feelings on the play.

That report was a whole lot of nothing . Shouldn’t change anyone’s opinion on their position. Dudes are just unstable and not confident in their play so they reading stuff into that report (and other “developments”) that just isn’t there.

We know retail owns the majority of shares.

We know short interest is at the very least 17%(probably much higher)

We know AMC is and has been one of the most talked about and traded stocks on the market for months.

All of this puts longs in a great position, and none of it has changed.

Until one or more of these things changes, the play is still the same as it’s always been.

Exactly...rep coming. AMC isn't like these other volatile investments, fundamentals are strong and Hollywood is rebounding and people are returning back to theaters.

If anything this should be a positive reaffirmation that this is the smart play, we may just have to wait a little.

Also...if it is a long play until 2022 even better since we'd have the asset for over a year and get a smaller tax rate...

Either way it is a very long play, if people want a quick flip, then play with crypto memes or Fan Duel....

Can't be impatient, emotional, and unhinged when navigating the market.

The problem with this argument is that the fundamentals are immaterial when the stock is so heavily shorted. Were fundamentals to figure in its price action, we’d already be in the xxx range, given how strong the forecast looks, without even factoring in the company’s bullish performance. They can’t let this go much higher without it wiping them out and triggering a margin call from which they couldn’t escape. I understand your sentiment, but find it overly optimistic and divorced from the reality of how precarious this play - and GME, mind you - is. Something needs to be done about the hedges current strategy of suppressing the price through the use of dark pools and synthetics.

They can use tools like the dark pool to make the price whatever they want, so they still have to cover but there is no time limit. Thats the harsh reality.

I forgot where I read it, but 2/3 years was the break even on how long they could drag it out according to that person.
