i haven't seen those old ones in a while, but I remember the special fx looked a lot more impressive
especially the Dr. Ock fights, and when the guy first becomes sandman

Looking forward to it..like the easter eggs in it..love the way the relationship between Peter and Harry is framed..Jamie looks like a beast and Gwen will probably bite it in this one.

Anyone catch the hints for Sinister Six? The six chamber doors at Oscorp? Vulture wings? Dr Oct's arms? ...The cemetery scene, either Uncle Ben, Gwen or Norman? Norman will most likely die and Harry rages. My thing is "Hobgoblin", how will he be introduced?

I thought Amazing Spider-Man was on point ...my only gripe is the Rhino suit, but at the same time, it's 2014, people running around in spandex would look stupid.

Nah I thought they made him a too weak as Spiderman (with what little they showed of him) and went a little overboard with an emo Peter Parker angle. It was an aight movie but I give it a pass for being the first one.

Spiderman 2 remains the best for me because it combined the great action/skills of SM plus a good story. This film looks to be going in the same direction.

It looks pretty I just hope Peter Parker isnt still an insufferable a$$hole, several contrived plot lines arent dropped mid movie and its villains arent superficial. Much of the same as the first one. Why would they change it though? Folks just want something pretty to look at.

Not a fan of the first one, mostly because they went and spend a whole hour on his origin again. Also, they brought all the bad stuff from the Raimi movies with them (the ridiculous NY/USA patriotism, the constant unmasking) but none of the charm.

Truth be told, all the super heroe movies follow this same formula for their first movie. An hour origin, some training montage, sprinkle in some patriotism and some jokes, and a love interest.

Yeah it is pretty obvious that the end game is to have the sinister six all in one movie...but I would be more of a fan of doing two at a time than 3...

with 3...it is pretty much a guarantee that one of them gets thrown in at the end...and i am a fan of all three characters...

I also am more of a fan of the reboot than the original spiderman....but i am a borderline andrew garfield stan as well
