you can downsample with your AMD card?

and whatever lesser AA they could use is besides the point. Max Payne 3 "maxed out" on the PC means 8x msaa
Yea I can downsample. It took a bit of tinkering the registry. 8X msaa is irrelevant to me though, I can't tell the difference when it's on 4 or 8 honestly. Something like 2Xmsaa for some games is good enough or the one INfamous uses which is damn near perfect. I mean "maxed out" as in, looks good as fukk. :yeshrug:

seems like what you did for the PS4 breh.
Nah seriously, MP3 if ported to ps4 I think would run on high/ultra settings. It's not really a demanding game. It runs at those settings @ 1440P like I said above on a Fx4100, 2GB Radeon HD 7870 and 8GBS of RAM. Surely that game can run with no problem on a PS4. Like come on now :skip:
(At 1080P on ultra settings with maybe different AA implementation.) Y'all trying to get all technical and shyt. You know what I mean breh. :comeon:.

the claim was that it would look better than the PC version

Damn @Fatboi1 , too bad you're using an AMD card...I'd recommend nvidia inspector if you had an nvidia card. I got that shyt looking way better than anything the regular settings could do. I'm using 8xSQ (which is combined 2x2 Supersampling + 2x MSAA) right now and its a pretty big leap from the non-working AA options Rockstar gave us.

It would look better than YOUR PC version. :umad:

No I'm just :troll: right now. PC version would never look inferior. Tomb Raider for PS4 though looks on par with the PC version on high settings BUT.... Once you throw in higher resolutions, Sweetfx then it's a wrap.

What's your framerate looking like?? On my end I just throw the resolution at 2560x1440P to downsample and then i put on AA in the in game settings. It honestly doesn't look THAT much different. :yeshrug:
You got any comparison pics?

does that work with dx11? I like using SGSSAA, but it usually only works with dx9 games

it depends if that game couples a sharpening filter with fxaa. I think fxaa is generally a pretty good as far as post processing AA. I played MP3 awhile ago, but I seem to remember seeing the framerate drop into the 40's even with fxaa
