I love you, you know.
Nah. I’m good. Public transportation is just disgusting to me.As usual people come in here with all or nothing thinking. More trains is a good thing. Will make your only driving head ass have less traffic.

Man I use to take the bus to work out here in Birmingham. To get to a job that started at 9:00 am I had to walk from my house and catch the bust at 5:45 in the morning. Think about that. I got down to the central hub around 6:45 and got to EJ Oliver Blvd in Fairfield around 8:15 just to get there at 9. Maybe in other cities it may happen but Bham bus system is flat out TRAGIC. If you don't have a car you are fukked.
The Birmingham Xpress (BX) is a new, regional public transit system that will serve the communities of Birmingham and surrounding areas. BX will employ Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) technology to provide a high-quality public transit system that delivers fast, reliable and cost-effective mobility services for citizens and visitors. The Birmingham Xpress BRT Project will connect 25 neighborhoods to opportunities and vital services along its corridor. In addition, enable citizens to reach employment, educational, and healthcare centers. It will also provide access for visitors to explore Birmingham’s historic and cultural locations. BX will implement innovative system designs and technologies to improve travel time, lower costs, and enhance service appeal. These objectives are accomplished by:
Think light-rail transit on rubber tires – BRT can travel as fast as light rail, but at approximately one-third of the construction costs.
- Dedicated Busway & Alignment
- Intersection Treatments (Signal Priority)
- Vehicle Design
- Platform-Level-Boarding Stations
- Off-board Ticketing/Fare Collection
- Enhanced Transit Service
- Rider Appeal (Branding)
- Land Use Coordination (TOD)
Public benefits of the new transit service will be wide-ranging and include Economic Competitiveness, Quality of Life, Safety Improvements, Environmental Sustainability, and improvement in Transportation State of Good Repair.

if you don't want others to go through what you went through, you gotta get politicians and other city officials to care about it.
Maybe for folks that live in NYC or some shyt.
But for the rest of us, uhh…no.
Towns are already going broke paying for urban sprawl. But that would involve spending money on infrastructure at a rate not seen since the first implementation of the interstate system....no way in hell is that gonna happen...
It is a myth that everything is spread out. This country has literally been built around the automobile. Cities, towns and neighborhoods. Even rual areas were built around horses before cars were invented.
The car ain’t going away no time soon. Everything is too spread out.
Like Europe? Not going to happen because some liberal cac want this country to be like Europe
