America has too much landmass making cars a necessity. Also what about delivery and outside sales jobs. I think what we need to is make the car safer, cheaper and cleaner.

Also mass adoption of electric vehicles will never happen

When you spend time in a society that's done public transportation properly you really see how backwards shyt is in America

The problem in North America even with a meticulous.and reliable public service you would still have to deal with mental patients on the rides. Toronto public transit is better than a lot of American cities but that's not even saying much. It's still terrible because we don't have a lot of train lines. And the trains that did used to be nice are all full of druggies and homeless now. Japan works because everything is monthly kept to some order. They would not have the type of public nuisance we deal with.
