Gerwig did a great job on Little Women (yeah I saw it) but her getting snubbed is a numbers crunch. I'd have a tough time arguing she's definitely deserving over any of the current nominees.

My mom watched this film on Netflix and the scene she brought up to me was this one.

Gotdam this movie is overrated trash.
That monologue is basically a Women's Studies lecture crammed into a scene in the most forced way possible.
Nothing about Marriage Story was natural, unforced or true to life. It was a bunch of obnoxious white people acting with a capital "A".
Like the most torturous small town acting class one could imagine.
