Heath won Best Supporting Actor for portraying The Joker and Joaquin is the odds on favorite to win. How many actors have won the Oscar for portraying the same character? I know Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro both won it for Vito Corleone in The Godfather series.

Pitt is gonna win for never winning before. It's almost more like a career award, although he is the best part of Hollywood. I'm not mad at that just cuz Pitt does have a real solid filmography. I wouldn't be surprised if Tarantino won director too for the same reason, even though Hollywood is one of his lesser films IMO.

Dafoe really deserves to be in that supporting actor category. At least The Lighthouse got a cinematography nom.
