I've been seeing Robert Deniro's name brought up in a lot of those Oscar Snubs articles and I'm shocked because I really don't think Deniro was at his best in The Irishman.
I thought Pacino wiped the floor with everyone in that movie when it came to acting performances.

Loved The Lighthouse but not surprised at its absence here. Crazy cause I thought we had some great performances in horror last year.

Gerwig did a great job on Little Women (yeah I saw it) but her getting snubbed is a numbers crunch. I'd have a tough time arguing she's definitely deserving over any of the current nominees.

I know you cats are all too busy discussing choices a blind person could see coming from the Cacademy, but probably the most random and craziest thing about these nominees is Honeyland, a documentary, getting a nod for Best Foreign Film alongside its Best Documentary nod.

No one was great in Marriage Story...that movie was pure dog shyt.

I didn’t finish it and was a lot of hype except their argument scene. Netflix sucked a lot of to get these nominations and left money on the nightstand afterwards.

Pesci and Pacino were superior to him in that movie.

A24 got major snubs this year. Waves and Uncut Gems not getting anything? Waves should have at least gotten Cinematography.

i dont understand how joker got a best adapted screenplay nom. on top of the script being a weaker part of the movie, what source was it adapted from? its like a completely new story

leaving out sandler for best actor is criminal. and zero noms for the farewell?
