Off the top of my head, resign Pete, Winker, bader, sevi and manaea if the contract terms are ok. Sign Soto and Burnes.

That should get us a rotation of Burnes, Senga, manea, sevi and Peterson/megil or surprise. That would be a legit rotation that shouldn't walk 50 dodgers in a playoff series.

The outfield of Soto, bader, Nimmo with Gilbert in the wings, and an infield of Pete, Acuña, Lindor, Vientos and Alvarez should also improve the offense without too much difficulty.

I would move Marte and McNeil

I would rather Taylor over Bader. And I don't care if they resign Pete or not.
And I don't think they should resign both Sevi and Manaea. I would prefer Manaea but either or is fine. Peterson is a lock for the rotation. Leaving a 5th spot for Megill/Scott/Sprout. I wouldn't mind signing another project for less $ than Sevi.

I agree with a lot here, except for a couple. I agree with @AnonymityX1000 on signing one, but not both of Manea/Severino. Because if you think about it, you mention the walks.. but that's basically the exact rotation that we've got this year, except for adding Burnes in place of Quintana. The latest is Burnes wanting 8 years tho.

Same. I'm a Taylor guy.

I think we need to get comfortable with the fact that Megill is gonna be a long relief/spot starter specialist. Which is fine cause there's value in that.

Great points about the rotation. We got to switch it up a bit to cut down on the walks.
Agree about Megill.

We’ll take Pete for the vet minimum and he can come see what’s it’s like to be with a proper organization in the Bronx.

We can even throw in an associated box of bobbleheads that may or may not include:

Catfish Hunter
Joe Pepitone
Casey Stengel
Vet minimum is basketball. There's no such thing in baseball. Do the knowledge. lol
