Appears to generate good pressure up the middle and can find the ball carrier in the run game. Might be more of a project in the Ravens system, but I think it's time they stop getting these big bodied interior d-lineman that can't rush the passer.
Jordan Elliott*, DT, Missouri
Height: 6-4. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2020): 3-5.
2/15/20: Elliott recorded 44 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three passes batted in 2019. He decided to enter the 2020 NFL Draft rather than return to Missouri. While Elliott has some talent and a pro skill set, he didn't always play up to it in college.
6/29/19: Team sources said that Elliott impressed them last year even though he didn't produce a big stat line. For 2018, he totaled 24 tackles with three sacks and a pass batted. Elliott has a good skill set with upside to get better now that he has some experience. Some team sources said they projected him as having potential to go in the top half of the 2020 NFL Draft.
did you watch any of the combine breh?
I saw few highlights (Murray/Queen) and a few lowlights (Epenesa/Shenault) for others. I think the best measurable for these guys is what they do when the pads are on and for that, we gotta go to the tape. Year in and year out there are guys that blow the combine out of the water and within two years of being drafted, they're buried on the depth chart.
If so did anyone jump out to you?
I liked OT - Becton and RB - AJ Dillon. They'll most likely either be gone or not the BPA when the Ravens pick, but I think they'd be immediate contributors in this offense.
I just started really watching offensive guys last week and this WR class is crazy
WR is really good, which means you don't necessarily have to make them a 1st round pick priority. Should be lots of talent to be had in the 3rd and 4th rounds at this position.
oline is also the best its been in past few years
everyone keeps saying the guard from Fresno St is freakishly strong.nikkas comparing him to Larry Allen
He did really well in the bench press, but I'd like to see his 3 cone drill numbers. Ravens like athletic fast guards and they pull them constantly. It wouldn't do them any good to have this guy on the line and they can't pull him because he's too slow. They already can't pull baby Zeus because he's too slow. If they put another slug on the line, defenses will be able to game plan against them even easier and god forbid they'd be dumb enough to put them both on the same side.
I think I want the guard or a WR in the 1st
we definitely need to go guard in the 1st round now
Hall of Famer
I hope the Ravens can grab him in the 3rd or 4th round. He reminds me of a young Boldin and SSS in one. If they can get him, the offense will get the best receiver they've had in years.
Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
Height: 6-3. Weight: 220.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Projected Round (2020): 3-4.
2/1/20: Edwards played well for the Gamecocks in 2019, collecting 71 receptions for 816 yards andsix touchdowns. He competed well against Alabama with a tough performance. Edwards is a polished receiver with quickness, size, and run-after-the-catch skills.
8/17/19: Edwards was a consistent contributor for the Gamecocks over the past three seasons and could take on a bigger role as a senior with Deebo Samuel's departure for the NFL. In 2018, Edwards caught 55 passes for 846 yards and seven touchdowns. He had solid contributions as a sophomore (64-793-5) and freshman (44-590-4) while playing in an inconsistent passing offense. Edwards is a big possessional receiver who could compete as a Z - flanker - receiver for a pro team.
