I'd like to see more film on him especially in coverage, but he looks like a decent run defender. He needs work taking on blocks and angular pursuit, but those are all things that can be coached. I think he takes on oline blocks in the run game better than Murray and Queen. He is very physical at the point of attack and appears to have good instincts in the run game. He might be a 3rd, 4th or 5th, but I can see him spending time of special teams and learning how to play ILB at the NFL level. Second year contributing more on special teams before filling in if someone goes down. All this can change if he gets with the right coaching staff and can learn from a vet.

I think I missed posting this one.

Darrell Taylor, 3-4OLB, Tennessee
Height: 6-3. Weight: 259. Arm: 33. Hand: 10.
Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
Projected Round (2020): 3-5.
2/15/20: In 2019, Taylor totaled 8.5 sacks, a forced fumble, four passes batted and 46 tackles. He had a slow start to the season before getting hot. Taylor played well enough in 2019 to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl, and he was solid but not impressive in Mobile.

6/29/19: Taylor went under the radar in 2018, but he had a breakout year for the Volunteers, logging 36 tackles with eight sacks and three forced fumbles. Taylor has the upside to rise, although he could stand to improve as a run defender while duplicating his pass-rush production.

Leaves the Ravens with roughly 22 million in cap space if they don't make anymore roster moves before free agency starts.

Do you think they will trade Judon at this point? If he stays, will they be able to hash out a deal? A lot of his sacks came one on one with tight ends or when he was blitzing. I don't think Judon deserves A+ pass rusher money.

Ferguson has a lot to work on. Pass rush moves, overall awareness, football IQ, counter moves, being discipline and setting an edge. He needs to hit the weights as well. He looked like a rookie last season and not ready to seize the opportunity. I'm thinking he'll fill more of a backup role this season.

I'm hoping the Ravens can get JPP in free agency and draft either Baun or Gross-Matos in the first and possibly pick up Greenard from Florida in the third to help get some more young guns in there.

I did my own Ravens Mock Draft using a simulator. Here's who I was able to land them. I've been stopping my drafts at the end of the 5th round because the Ravens have no 6th round pick and their 7th is #225. He may not even make the roster. I'm not projecting any of these guys to be day 1 starters, but some have potential to do just that.

1.0

#28 Zack Baun (OLB - Wisconsin), #60 Raekwon Davis (DT/DE - Alabama), #92 Bryan Edwards (WR - South Carolina), #106 Bradlee Anae (OLB - Utah), #129 Akeem Davis-Gaither (MLB - App. St.), #134 Ben Bredeson (OG/OC - Michigan), #170 Quintez Cephus (WR - Wisconsin). In this scenario, the Ravens sign a tier two MLB, WR and OG/OC in FA.

2.0
#28 Yetur Gross-Matos (OLB - Penn St.), #60 Malik Harrison (MLB - Ohio State), #92 Darrell Taylor (OLB - Tennessee), #106 Rashad Lawrence (DT/DE - LSU), #129 Jordan Elliott (DT/DE - Missouri), #143 Quintez Cephus (WR - Wisconsin), #170 J.R.Reed (S - Georgia). In this scenario, the Ravens sign a tier two WR, OG and DE in FA.

3.0
#28 Zack Baun (OLB - Wisconsin), #60 Cam Akers (RB - Florida St.), #92 Ben Bartch (O-line - St. John), #106 Bryan Edwards (WR - South Carolina) latest I've been able to get him, #129 Jordan Elliott (DT/DE - Missouri), #134 Ben Bredeson (OG/OC - Michigan), #143 Markus Bailey (MLB - Purdue), #170 J.R.Reed (S - Georgia). In this scenario, the Ravens sign a tier two MLB and CB in FA.

Any of these off-seasons sound like a possibility? I wasn't able to factor in a tag and trade scenario for Judon, but if that happens, the Ravens might be picking again in the 2nd. I also was not able to trade away my pick for more picks.

5th rounder? That's a steal.

Got to get that extension done...IINM he has a 15M base salary which would put us right up against the cap. We'd have no room left w/o extending him.

New CBA passed, so the cap is 198m. Ravens may not be as bad off as you think.
