Looked at some of Duvernay's tape against LSU. He was pretty physical after catching the ball. He made Delpit look like a scrub on one missed tackle and straight up ran him over the other time. He finished the game 12/157/2. I'd like to see more tape on him, but I hope the physicality he displays with the football in his hands never changes. I like receivers that turn into runningbacks when they get the ball in their hands. I'm not saying be reckless, but one defensive back should not be able to take you down unless you don't see hm coming. Speed, toughness and sure hands are all you could ever want in a slot receiver.

Ben Bredeson scouting report

Functional Athleticism - He's got enough juice to step down in uncovered reps and cut off LBs on the second level. Like his ability to move laterally and to pull out in space, showing good hinge and natural feel for gearing down to set his blocks in space.

Football IQ - Long-tenured starter who has seen most everything at this point. Really like his discipline not to drift up the field on PA passing or when hunting for bodies. Assignment swaps and passing off stunts is consistent and shows good communication to keep gap tight.

Anchor Ability - His raw power is pretty notable, he'll bully a lot of players even when he catches hands with his chest and gets jolted. If he were more consistent with his block framing he's be even more stout and would rarely see defenders take real estate against him man on man.

Hand Technique - His hands are patient and appreciate his activity to reset hands and look for optimal fit. That said, many of his punches land but he doesn't set the hook and looks to get outreached at times at the POA while trying to establish himself to finish the block.

Balance - Will overextend himself looking to press the issue when playing forward at the snap. Think he's got really nice lateral mobility and ability to drive back against momentum to pin down a DL trying to cross his face. Patient in space to stay over his hips to frame a block.

Pass Sets - Can be a bit liberal with his footwork and prone to narrow base, which will put him in late anchor situations vs. explosive defenders. If he can be more consistent with his foot cadence, he's got the base tools and skill set to be very, very good here. Appreciate his patience in space.

Flexibility - Plenty of looseness to his hips, little issue getting out of his stance and springing into action cleanly. Doesn't waste a lot of movement on those reps and as a result stays on schedule hitting landmarks. Shows enough ability to bend knees, drop the hips and anchor.

Power at POA - His power when stepping down to chip and climb or rolling hips through contact is impressive, he's a player you can run behind when you know you need a yard. Leg drive is good and urgency to fire off the ball wins him initial positioning.

Length/Extension - His actual length is just fine, especially for playing on the interior where wingspan and reach is mitigated. He doesn't play with the best power or control when tasked with playing at extension, he's much better against less rangy DL that he can yank around in close quarters.

Competitive Toughness - Mauler. He's taken some dudes for a ride and will play all the way through the end of the whistle. Impressive physical toughness to scrap with heavy handed IDL in the trenches. His physical toughness and strength is one of his greatest assets.

Summary - Ben Bredeson projects as a starting guard at the NFL level. There appears to be enough versatility to project Bredeson into a number of concepts and systems, although his functional power and ability to reset the LOS should have him coveted highest on boards that implement primarily gap/power rushing concepts. Bredeson, if able to work on getting his initial hand strikes to stick on defenders with more consistency, would be a quality starter and asset up front.

I really like Bredeson. He played with Cesar Ruiz and anchored Michigan's oline. He has all the tools to succeed in the NFL. He has experience at Center and Guard. I see him playing both for the Ravens, but he should settle in at left guard. He should fit in well and become a starter soon.

Broderick Washington Jr. scouting report

Hand Technique - Like his hand power and he does a nice job of situating himself on the numbers of blockers. His shedding isn't overly consistent and there are times in which he'll look to pull off blockers without utilizing hand shedding — leading him to get stuck on the block as he tries to scrape.

Competitive Toughness - He's a high motor presence for sure. Like watching him continue to run the feet and press through contact to find daylight and create creases up front. His functional power isn't overwhelming and his anchor skill aren't going to thrive in the interior but he'll hold his own in the B-gap.

Two Gap Ability - He doesn't have high end extension but he does have the punch pop to set the LOS quickly and then transition into reading blocks. Shucking skills aren't infallible and he's not quite as dynamic when he's charged with unhinging his hips to flip and get across face and clear of blocks. But he's stout and will stuff up the LOS.

Gap Penetration - There's a little something here to work with, for sure. Like his initial spring and he gains ground while keeping his pads condensed, which creates a difficult strike zone to consistently land on. He's not super explosive but he offers enough juice here to get on the right side of the LOS.

Tackling - Has made a number of finishes away from his frame and effectively extended himself to wrap and roll as ball carriers try to work through his vicinity. You wish he was a little more sudden to slide his base and work to get out over the top of ball carriers.

Flexibility - He's more of a linear athlete than anything else, doesn't showcase effective ability to step around blockers and turn corners. He's got good anchor skills in head on collisions and can hinge his hips to stay low. Less sufficient in reps where he's forced to stack and scrape.

Pass Rush Counters - Like his urgency in his play style and he'll give you a shallow arm over or effective power rush — but if you can stonewall the initial charge he doesn't offer a lot of backup plans to work through traffic or play and redirect off of contact effectively.

First Step Explosiveness - Offers sufficient ability to gear up and charge through a gap — but quick footed lineman will be able to get set up on their base and challenge him effectively. He's more of a mismatch draw in pass situations — don't think he's capable of overwhelming a fair amount of NFL OL with burst.

Feet/COD - He's not going to provide a lot of value unless you play him in single gap and charge him with finding the football in the backfield. Step frequency isn't great and he'll struggle to mirror in short situations. His lack of dynamic base definitely pops up as he tries to unlock his hips and redirect.

Versatility - Low grade interior DL with enough versatility to play the 4i or possibly step into a 1T role in even fronts. He's not a killer in any one area of the game but he plays hard and urgent and has requisite athleticism to be a rotational defender along the LOS.

Summary - Broderick Washington projects as a rotational odd front defensive lineman at the pro level. Washington offers good quickness, an effective nose for the football, the ability to play off of contact with extension and bright flashes of resetting the line of scrimmage. Washington isn't overly dynamic as a pass rusher and he thrives in shallow angles but he is quick enough to shoot his fair share of gaps and should contend for rotational reps in his early NFL career.

They got a lot of IDL this draft and as far as I remember, Daylon Mack is still on the roster. IONO what they're planning, but Brandon Williams may not be on this roster at the end of the season especially if these young brehs take care of business. I never liked the Williams contract because he doesn't generate pressure or get many if any sacks. To me, if you're going to pay an interior d-lineman that much money, they need to be dominant in run defense and be able to rush the passer.

James Proche scouting report

Route Tree - It sounds simple, but he understands how to to get open. He's got effective breaks and has shown mastery of timing concepts with his QB as well, he'll sync up spot throws no problem. He has found success in all areas of the field but keeping him in the MOF where he can be given more room to work can shine as best pro usage.

Hands - He's had some awesome concentration grabs over his time at SMU. He'll pluck the ball away from his frame no problem, blessed with disproportionate hands relative to his wingspan, which allows him to vacuum in balls away from his body. One of the more sure-handed WRs in the class.

Contested Catch Ability - For not being overly big or long, he brings good results here for sure. He's maneuvered and slid out of box outs and has successfully reached back for back shoulder throws as well. Can check a defender off his hip late in vertical situations. Just don't expect great results if you throw them above the rim.

RAC Ability - Long speed is problematic and he doesn't have a great deal of explosive juice to consistently peel off against contain to break pursuit angles and create space to win foot races. He's a bit more linear than he is a change of direction athlete as well.

Football IQ - Argument could be build that he banked a little too heavily on wide open offense and that he'll need some added polish as a route runner to snap off hard angles. That's a reasonable expectation as he hits the pros, he will need to slam shut windows to jump targets. But his timing, body control and ball skills are all high end skills.

Vertical Receiving - He isn't going to consistently stack up defenders and get a lot of real estate vertically, but he's won here with hand fighting and if you put him in the slot he should find his share of wins here. Tracking skills and ability to position himself optimally under the football are consistent and help his QB.

COD Skills - He doesn't have tons of bounce in his cuts but he's got enough short area quickness to him that he's capable to slip contact. I think the top of his routes can be boosted and upgraded with some footwork polish, so I don't think he's too athletically limited to be more dynamic at the top of his stem.

Speed - He isn't going to consistently win foot races and if you ask him to stack against defenders playing up in his face, he's going to have to win late in the route with his hands, as he doesn't have ideal burst or second gear in space to open up his strides.

Competitive Toughness - Love the "my ball" mentality you get here, don't often see it with sub-6' guys. He'll never quit on a ball and he's bailed his passers out on a number of occasions with his body control at the catch point. Contributions extend to special teams as well — has tackled his fair share of punt return reps as well.

Blocking Skills - Dense enough but his lack of length can pose as a barrier for him consistently locking out on blocks and setting the hook effectively to wall off defenders. It isn't going to kill him as a player but if you're banking on D-gap seal, he should probably be aligned away from the play. He gives good effort, though.

Best Trait - Hands

Worst Trait - Catch Radius

Summary - James Proche projects as a starting slot receiver at the pro level. His lack of long speed or functional strength may mitigate his value in a true boundary role, but Proche has the needed concentration skills and route running ability to stick and be a productive starting receiver in the NFL. His experience in a wide open passing offense will transition well to teams that space the field and look to push the ball vertically. Love his body control and ball skills — don't sleep on this one.

Second guy projected as a starting slot receiver. Willie Snead's time on the roster might be coming to an end in a season or two. I'd like to see Chris Moore gone first though :russ:

I'm a little concerned about WR tbh. Duvernay and Proche look like they have great hands and great speed but we still don't have that #1 option. I really feel like they needed to go above and beyond to get a Hopkins or a Cee Dee lamb type. How do yall feel about signing AB? I don't think he's worth the headache but desperate times...

Overall though its been a great draft with great value picks. Only time will tell obviously but EDC has not dissapointed so far.

I've seen rumors online, but I don't think it'll happen. This country loves police and the fact that his tyraid was put on social media for the world to see just killed any chance he has of playing in the NFL. Marrying that girl may look good to some people, but he would have to admit to having some sort of mental problem, a drug problem, check himself into rehab and donate to a police organization to be some what forgiven. Even that may not be enough for some people.

I would love to see him on the team, but I think the Ravens care more about their image and the potential backlash that would insue if they signed AB.

No Edge rusher/OLB tells me the Ravens are thinking one of three things or a combination of the three.

1. They are sticking with Judon, Ferguson and Bowser with the hopes that interior pass rush from Campbell, Wolfe and Madubuike will generate more sacks for these guys.

2. They are going to wait to see if Clowney or someone like that comes down significantly on their asking price OR until some team has a surprise cut, then they'll sign them to fill the need.

OR AND I COULD BE COMPLETELY WRONG WITH THIS

3. They could be moving Queen to OLB or having him play more of a hybrid role. I only think this is a possiblity because after looking more at Malik Harrison, I'm convinced that he's a better prospect than Queen at LB especially playing in the AFC North. Queen is faster and really good at blitzing, but Harrison has size, he's splendid in coverage and dominant against the run. You'll want Harrison on the field more than Queen IMO.

Reminds me of Pierre Garcon when he was playing with the Foreskins and was catching everything Cousins was throwing his way. He could be a huge upgrade in the passing game and compliment Hollywood and Andrews nicely. I hope they have enough offensive snaps to keep everyone "happy." Boykin and/or Jaleel Scott gotta get their shyt together. I hope they can turn the corner this season. Ravens got everything they need to be the next dynasty.

Imo you gotta keep Queen in the middle. If not that sideline to sideline range is wasted
