They got a lot of IDL this draft and as far as I remember, Daylon Mack is still on the roster. IONO what they're planning, but Brandon Williams may not be on this roster at the end of the season especially if these young brehs take care of business. I never liked the Williams contract because he doesn't generate pressure or get many if any sacks. To me, if you're going to pay an interior d-lineman that much money, they need to be dominant in run defense and be able to rush the passer.
yeah B-Will is definitely gone after this season

they're gonna need that money for the Stanley and Humphrey extensions

Judon will be gone too

Im kinda surprised he didnt get traded today.Im guessing nobody offered a 2nd

overall I like our draft even though I wasnt happy about the Queen pick on Thursday

after looking up all the players Malik Harrison might be my favorite pick.He looks like a day 1 starter to me

I wanted a WR earlier but im glad they double dipped on slot receivers. It lets me know they're just as disgusted by Willie Sneads play as I am

JK should beast in our offense and give us that homerun speed we've been missing from the RB position

surprised we didnt draft an edge guy but our pass rush should still be drastically better with all the interior rushers we've added

I still think we need a #2 WR....stakes are too high for us to be counting on Boykins to make the leap

LSU game wasn't a one off. Duvernay plays physical. He's angry when he gets the ball in his hands. He reminds me of SSS. I'm looking at him to be a chain mover, and be used in the screen game especially early in his career. It's exciting to get a young receiver like this because in the past, we got guys like Q and SSS late in their careers. They were still effective, but getting these guys young is much more exciting.

Defenses aren't gonna know how to prepare for this offense. It's pretty much gonna be, pick your poison. Eight men in the box, Lamar is gonna hit Hollywood, Andrews or another receiver for yardage. Don't crowd the box, Lamar is gonna get the RPO game going and either him or (Ingram, Dobbins or Gus) are gonna gash you. Not sure how Justice Hill fits in outside of a 3rd down role, but I gotta think he'll be used somewhere.

I'd like to see Lamar get better at calling audibles this season. He talked about watching film with his receivers this off-season in his presser to make sure everybody is on the same page. If that's the case and the virus hasn't put a huge dent in that plan, they're already taking steps in the right direction. Once they put it in practice/rep it and perfect it :wow:

Also, I'm liking this Tyre Phillips kid. He's got the right mindset to be successful early on. I know Marshall left a big hole in the o-line, but I hope between Powers, Phillips and Bredeson, one of them is able to come in and play at a very high level. Still curious to see who takes over at center if Skura isn't ready or gets released.

I like the way Decosta double drated too. We've seen them do this before a couple times, but not with damn near every position drafted. They have kinda hedged their bets and increased their chances of getting a contributer. If both contribute, :krs:

the defense have to respect the passing attack now, it’s gonna be another mvp year for lamar I’m predicting 40 + passing touchdowns this year

He's not twitchy like Steve Smith or as sudden. However, he does have that toughness. If he and Andrews are problems over the middle it opens up the deep passes to Hollywood.

He was supposedly a cap casualty, so there shouldn't been any medical or other underlying issue here. He'll most likely start with the only interior line spot up for grabs being center. I'm looking at Mekari or Bredeson to take that spot, but I'll give the edge to Mekari because he's got a little more NFL experience.

I'm really hoping the Ravens aren't sold on Bozeman at LG and allow Philips and Bredeson to compete for his spot too. Bozeman is slow, plays soft and doesn't have the athleticism of Philips. They need an olineman out there that won't get pushed around and pulls with bad intentions.
