I haven't heard that they were moving to the inside. I will say this though, the Ravens like to play alot of uneven fronts and move people around, so if those guys can play inside, they should be able to make some splash plays. I really like the way Baun blitzes and diagnosis' plays.

I haven't seen Gallimore's tape, but Madabuike can play 0, 3, 5 and generate pressure from all of them. He's strong af too, so in run defense, he doesn't lose ground. I can only imagine how much he will improve under someone like Campbell showing him new tricks.

You're right. They were playing from behind in those games.
We got Madabuike

I think they'll take Bryan Edwards if he's at 92. I wouldn't be mad about Johnathan Greenard at some point this round :sas1:

Scouting report on J.K. Dobbins

Vision - His wide/outside zone work is terrific, pressing the LOS with controlled pace — yet carries himself quickly and transitions fast thanks to high end processing and anticipation to break when defenders declare themselves to gaps. He's rarely busted without a cut and isn't put off or frazzled by early penetration.

Feet/COD - SMOOTH! He's jitterbug when he wants to be and a dynamic lateral cutter when he wants to be. There's no shortage of reps of him altering his base to step around, over or clear trash near his feet and slip to the boundary — all his cuts feature spring and allow him to snap back into upfield progress once he cuts.

Durability - Had a down year in 2018 and bounced back with a dominating performance in 2019 with over 300 carries. Proved capable of the bell cow role as needed and he's a nightmare in the secondary with how he'll physically challenge tacklers and drop a shoulder to make you think twice about taking him on high.

Balance - Contact balance is really nice, he's low and squatty to the ground but comes with a more dynamic base than comparable backs which allows him to catch himself from steep angles and drive through contact. Open field balance to string together cuts is strong and he's taken jock straps on the second level with high speed dekes and jukes.

Pass Protection - Got his wires crossed on a handful of occasions and been late to find a flashing defender bursting through a gap. His A-gap work is strong, he'll attack defenders and deliver significant blows to stonewall LBs dead in their tracks. Effort here is strong, too — won't have issues motivating him to bang in protection.

Elusiveness - Oily hips do well to open and get skinny as he slips through gaps on hard one cuts. He's able to contort himself with significant rotation to slip a spare limb. Won't find many guys who can bring him down from the side. He's got great wiggle and body control for his frame, much improved from his 2018 campaign.

Receiving Skills - Reliable outlet receiver who had some big plays left on the field by QB either missing him uncovering on wheel routes or by errant throws. Soft hands and is a natural hands receiver to pluck the ball in the flats and get his eyes upfield to set himself up to slip the first arriving tackler.

Short Yardage - Low build and powerful lower half will allow him to challenge narrow creases for a needed yard. He runs through soft challenges and has ability to fall forward in the pile. Not the most powerful bruiser but you better get him low in short yardage or he's going to put you on your back.

Football IQ - Natural rushing instinct and feel for setting up LBs when he gets some width out of the mesh point is tremendous. Quick to find the back door when POA is bottled up on inside rushes as well. Highly experienced player despite junior status and given his quick processor he should find success early and often at the NFL level.

Effort - Brings it in all phases of the position. Runs hard and he's not one to duck out of bounds without delivering a blow to his tackler when he's leveraged or pinned into the sidelines. He's a blue collar player and did well to find more explosiveness in 2019 offseason to set himself up for a big boost in draft stock.

Best Trait - Vision

Worst Trait - Pass Protection

Best Film - Wisconsin (2019)

Worst Film - Michigan (2018)

Red Flags - None

Summary - J.K. Dobbins is a future feature back. Dobbins' vision will allow him to thrive in a gap heavy rushing system, he's masterful in his press of the LOS and short area agility to cut and work to daylight based on defensive flow. Dobbins brings three down value as a feature back and his natural hands make him a threat for a top RB role in the years to come. Dobbins consistently wins his footraces to the end zone and teams needing life on the ground shouldn't hesitate to prioritize him.

Scouting report on Justin Madubuike

Hand Technique/Length - He'll get outreached from time to time by more rangy OL but his hand activity is urgent and showcases significant power in his hands to jolt and collapse the POA. Appreciate his tight quarters usage to create torque and twist in OL bodies and decrease angles to push through gaps.

Competitive Toughness - Work as a rally defender when the play goes away could stand for some extra enthusiasm but when charging the pocket as a pass rusher, he shows good motor. Very good functional strength and rarely gets his pads bubbled to give ground. He's really powerful and sports a compact build to play low.

Two Gap Ability - Doesn't have the necessary length to successfully stack up blockers with consistency but he'll long arm in the B-gap and show success providing space to shed. He's not a nose and needs to primarily play B-gap in the early downs. 2-gap takes him away from his strengths.

Gap Penetration Skills - Potent first step and good lateral quickness for L-steps to swap gaps quickly at the snap and transition up the field. He's light on his feet and nimble to attack daylight out of his stance or work across the face of blockers in head up scenarios. Plays through contact successfully.

Tackling - Violent finisher thanks to his explosive qualities. There's plenty of mobility in mirror situations to mask for his lack of true length or tackle radius and he's a sufficient finisher in the phone booth. Will get a good wrap on the body even if he's got blockers leaning on his frame.

Flexibility - Shows a fairly dynamic base in his stance and good hip hinge to coil and anchor as needed. There's good lateral lean as well to turn corners tight as a rusher, he'll drop the inside shoulder and get a tight apex on his rushes to get into the body of the quarterback against guards.

Pass Rush Counters - Powerful hands are complimented with his footwork to gain ground and pair hand strikes with his penetration step. Rips through contact well and has successfully bulled guards into the mesh against numerous opponents. Have seen him push/pull to create turned shoulders.

First Step Quickness - Every so often you'll catch him slow out of the blocks but his pure explosiveness is really good and on obvious passing downs there's potent burst off the snap to challenge blocks and get hip to hip with interior blockers quickly.

Feet/COD - Surprisingly graceful in open field situations. Natural athlete deserving of the "dancing bear" moniker and is smooth with redirections, especially in shallow angles with momentum pressed forward into the LOS. Appreciate how clean he vacates gaps in lateral situations.

Versatility - Got worked in a lot of alignments and found disruption in all of them. Like him as a stunt defender as well, smooth peeling behind a teammate and acceleration through vacated space. Can win at the NFL level as a 3T or a 5T with little issue and rush head up over the C on obvious passing situations.

Best Trait - Explosiveness

Worst Trait - Length

Best Film - Mississippi (2019)

Worst Film - Clemson (2019)

Red Flags - None

Summary - Justin Madubuike projects favorably into numerous defensive fronts. Implemented as a 0-tech NT in rush situations, 3T and also as a base end, there's versatility here that makes Madubuike an appealing player in a number of different fronts. His explosiveness is best implemented in a penetration role and he shouldn't be bothered with trying to stack or two-gap blocks for his best results. There's some polish needed for consistency's sake but this is a future NFL starter up front.

Devin Duvernay scouting report

Route Tree - Limited with how he'll set up defenders and he's at his best when he's given space to work at the LOS and use his initial explosiveness to create separation. Short-armed and doesn't have the savvy with his releases to play effectively off press coverage outside at this point — has some limitations that cut down the ceiling here, too.

Hands - His catch radius isn't anything to write home about. He's had some nice snags over the shoulder when running to space but if you're going to ask him to sit in traffic and extend back to the ball you can be sure to expect some frustrating reps and defenders to play through is body to meet the ball.

Contested Catch Ability - Doesn't really attack the football in the air — he's explosive but fairly straight line and ball adjustments don't yield a lot of success. His back shoulder ball skills are watered down by his limited reach and he'll struggle to shake defenders at the top of routes.

RAC Ability - If you give him a crease, he's going to gouge you pretty good. He's got a fair amount of initial acceleration to break angles in the open field and is explosive with the ball in his hands. Good contact balance to pinball off lazy challenges or defenders who are simply trying to get a piece of his lower half.

Football IQ - Isn't especially advanced and will need some TLC to coax more wins out of him in different ways. He's been spoiled at Texas with soft coverages and an offense boasting such a potent run threat, which has softened the 2nd level and made his life fairly easy working over the MOF.

Vertical Receiving - Most definitely has the juice to explode and run past defenders in off coverage who don't respect his potent speed. His ball tracking skills are promising too and he could ultimately get some reps at Z — but his releases need much more nuance. Needs more reps attacking the blind spot of DBs when pressing up the field.

COD Skills - Isn't especially twitchy in lateral situations — he's well balanced and when not trying to push the pace he'll adjust well enough but route breaks can be rounded and he shows some tightness in his hips when trying to roll through speed cuts and will fail to effectively snap his routes appropriately.

Speed - He's a killer in the open field. A former track athlete who won Texas state championship in 100-meter (10.27s). Teams would be well advised to reroute him quickly or he'll put MOF defenders in a bind on whether to drop off the line and give space underneath or trust deep coverage to work over and contest him.

Competitive Toughness - No matter what you say about his size, there's no mistaking that he's an angry, aggressive runner. Welcomes contact with the ball in his hands if he's out of grass to run to. Gives fairly consistent effort but won't serve as an asset in blocking for screens or run game because he'll often get out-reached.

Blocking Skills - Limitations here will likely relegate him to running defenders off the LOS instead of stalking or squaring up to wall off defenders in the secondary. He's used to having a lot of space to set up — how will he cope with having defenders in his space and can he establish inside leverage?

Best Trait - Straight Line Speed

Worst Trait - Route Tree

Best Film - LSU (2019)

Worst Film - Oklahoma (2019)

Red Flags - None

Player Summary - Devin Duvernay projects as a potential slot receiver at the pro level — but he's going to need to operate in a WCO offense predicated on run after the catch if he's going to be put to his best use. There's plenty of burst and explosiveness in his game and he could be a potential killer in RPO reps where he's isolated to fold behind linebackers in a bind reading the mesh point. He's fairly limited as far as where he'll win at a high level at this point in time, but there's raw tools to work with.

Problem with the Ravens draft....

They could have got everybody they picked AND Mims. They had enough picks to get Mims, the DT and Duvernay.
