This is a bad trade for Ravens. I know ppl like to call DeCosta a magician and all that but I don’t see this as a win for Ravens at all.

We made the Chiefs better and got a bad return in the process smh
I think it’s a good trade becuz he wasn’t coming back after this season anyway. So at least now they get a extra first round pick instead of a third round comp. They went on a roll last season after Stanley got hurt with DJ Fluker and Tyree Phillips splitting time at right tackle. They’re gambling on Stanley coming back 100%. Plus Villanueva is an upgrade over who they had at right tackle once Brown moved to the left side

im gonna wait to see what they do with these picks before i go in

i really dont care that he was traded to the Chiefs...its the fact that they gave up a 2nd that pisses me off

It's a big gap between picks 31 and 95 :sadcam:.

I know no draft pick is guaranteed to be a HOF, but the 2nd and 3rd is loaded with talent this draft that the Ravens are gonna miss out on. :snoop:

Giving up that 2nd definitely hurts, but I figure that's the price for KC having to extend him. It'll be interesting to see what kind of contract he'll get.

I'm fantasizing about using 27 and 31 to make a move for one of the top WRs, but we know that ain't happening. We'll draft Zeus's long-term replacement and an ED, if we stay there.

I agree with @STAN JONES though...I bet we use one of those 1s to move down and get a couple extra day 2 picks.

When yall gonna get Lamar some real WRs. I'm tired of seeing these cacs saying Josh Allen is better :martin:
They gotta get that pass rush and o line better first. I think the passing game was what it was for a few reason. Poor pass blocking up the middle, play calling, and Lamar has to get better throwing the ball outside the numbers. But I think the biggest issue is the line. People wee coming right up the middle. Plays didn’t have a chance as soon as the ball was snapped sometimes and Lamar had to use his legs to keep plays alive

draft day :blessed:

Decosta better not fukk this up

personally I'd take a WR and olineman with our 2 1st round picks but i predict we'll take pass rusher and trade down with the other pick
I swear to god I hope they don’t draft a WR tonite. The two things they are the worst at is protecting the QB and getting after the other team’s QB. If they do go the WR route I hope it’s using one of those picks to trade for Julio Jones

I agree with you, I'm also not a fan of a first round receiver, but if you look at the free agents that have come through you have a general idea of what they are going to do with the first few pics. Some combo of EDGE (Houston), WR (Jones), and RT (Villanueva/Kelly). If they don't get the guys they want in the draft, then those free agents are filling the spots

I'm thinking it's gonna go like this.

Minnesota is a wild card.
Steelers should take Najee Harris or Travis Etienne
Jacksonville should take Bateman
Browns should take Baramore.

Which should leave the Ravens in position to get Teven Jenkins and Joe Tryon.

Edit: Wrong on all of them except Squeelers

I think we get the TCU safety if he’s still there

He might still be there! I was thinking Jacksonville or Minnesota would take him. Ravens should take Moerhing and hope Jenkins is still there at 31. I wouldn't be mad if they took Jenkins and missed out on Moehring though. They need to get a pass rusher...either Tryon or Azeez.
