I think Phillips has more of a chance making it to 27 than Paye

I hope you're right and I hope the Ravens take Phillips.

Phillips had a better workout and better production in college.

I know potential has alot to do with when someone is drafted, and supposedly Paye has more potential, but he needs alot of work as a pass rusher. Plus, the Ravens have had no luck in developing a Michigan player since Jim went there. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes Paye 3-4 years before he registers double digit sacks. Maybe the Titans take him.

honestly i think they both will be gone by 27

Phillips could drop because of the concussions and the fact that he already medically retired before

I could see teams being scared to spend a 1st on him thinking he might be one of those guys who only lasts a few years and reties early

without the injuries/retirement thing I think he wouldve been a lock to go in the top 10

Im not as high on Paye as other people, hes a good football player but not a 1st rounder IMO

i do think he could be a Z'Darius type of guy in our scheme but we got Z'Daruis in the 4th not the 1st

:lupe: I didn't know that about Phillips.

Might be a better bet to get Tryon or Turner in the 2nd.

Turner should be there at 58, but Tryon will be gone...somewhere in the 40s...probably the Vikings.

Hes not even an upgrade. Dude is washed.

How those trade talks going for lil Zeus? Whats word on the street?
its been quiet lately

Ive been seeing his name link to the Chargers,Chiefs, and Colts the most

Harbaugh has basically said they're gonna keep him unless they're blown away by an offer

Tryon has moved up from a 2nd round pick, to a 1st round pick. His tape is outstanding and he would immediately contribute to the Ravens. Wink would be salivating at the packages he could create for him.

They would still need another pass rusher in this draft to me, but I know they have other areas they'd like to address.

Orlando Brown Jr, Ravens 2nd round pick (58) and a 5th round next year traded to the Chiefs for their 1st (31), their 95th pick and I believe a few more picks.

Ravens now have 2 1st round picks in this draft. They might be able to get Teven Jenkins and a WR or DE/OLB with those picks. Should be an interesting draft and a chance to rebuild and still be competitive

looks like the tweet was wrong

we get the 4th this year not next year

I'd be shocked if Decosta makes both of those 1st round picks

they're probably gonna trade out of the 1st with ones of those picks
