Not mad at the Bateman pick, was surprised he was still there. Think also we will pick a DE with the chiefs pick.

I would go oline

RT Tevin Jenkins and Center Landon dikkerson still there

either would be a day 1 starter

I still think we’ll try to trade down though

6'5 edge who runs a 4.3. I ain't mad at it.:yeshrug:

Bateman fits perfectly next to Watkins and Hollywood.

Add a coverage safety later on, address the O-line in the 3rd, and get depth for the defense with 4 of your last 5 picks and it's a great draft low-key.:ehh:

Bateman is cool and we definitely needed an edge rusher but man, you can't go for a project guy when Jenkins is sitting there on the board to be a day-one starter at tackle :francis:

No round 2 picks either :francis::francis:

EDIT: They can probably still get a decent tackle later on but Oweh is a low floor, high ceiling guy so I'll just have to hope he can put it together and hope he's not an Al Davis workout warrior

Bateman is the best receiver this team has ever drafted but that PSU pass rusher with no sacks over Rousseau with 15.5 was a mistake. Kid look like Mario Williams walking up the stage

Oweh is a project. Suggs came to the Ravens as a bona-fide pass rusher. I don't think they've ever "developed" a pass rusher. Their work is cut out for them. I don't like the pick and I didn't like the Humphrey pick and I'm glad I was wrong about Marlon. Hopefully, I'm wrong about Oweh too.

Tryon was the perfect fit for their system due to his versatility. Azeez was more of a 4-3 end, but he would've contributed as a pass rusher while his coverage skills developed.

I hope he develops, but IMO, 1st round picks shouldn't be projects. They need to come ready to compete and contribute.

Also, Deacosta said on Twitter the Ravens are not willing to spend draft capital to get into the 2nd round, so if you're hoping they try to get a safety or oline help, it's not happening until round 3.
