Harbaugh earned the right to try for 6-1 after the bye.

Real disappointment is flaco. You gotta carry the team into the playoffs with that type of salary in cases when everything around you is collapsing and you in good health again.


Also, I’m not sold on weddle. Mosley can’t cover routes man nor zone, defense always looking silly on outside runs. Defense got exploitable issues any decent team can take advantage of every game.

In terms of the defense, it seems like we've been saying this every season the last few years, but they just cannot get off the field on 3rd downs. Got no pressure on Ben, who killed them with those little quick hitters all day. And while they did neutralize AB, they still let Conner run for 100+ yds and basically were clueless on 3rd downs.

Bottom line, for all this talk of the "#1 defense", they couldn't stop the Steelers when they had to.

#1 would be the answer from your list
Harbaugh was never a great coach, he skated by on the Lewis/Reed/Mason/Boldin leadership and Pagano/Caldwell/Kubiack coaching. So there has been no fall off from what he's always been
Joe has also been the same guy for years. He's a good enough QB that succeeds when the pieces around him are good. Ozzie has failed at replacing those pieces the past few years, and the rest of the league fully figured out Flacco's tendencies and strengths since the SB run
