Well they actually paid him that money though, I’m saying these teams aren’t driving up prices for other teams to bite the bullet. All these teams walking on egg shells with how they spend now

@AvadaKadaBreh from what I’ve read on Wheeler, there is a thought around the league he still has upside because his stuff is so good. I believe analytics has him firmly as a top 15 SP the past two years as well. Also, he doesn’t have a ton of innings on his arm. He’s now 2+ years removed from TJ, so I think the injury scare is somewhat removed now.
