I know. But I've defined "African American" as a person who descends from African slaves who were brought to the united States of America during the transatlantic slave trade.

But what if your ancestors where brought to the united states and the carribean and migrated back to africa. Only to have their descendants move back to England and the United states.

I have a pretty good feel for the overall number count for most ethnic groups on here and I doubt the ratios of this survey that most coli posters will skip over will reflect that ratio

Descendants of free slaves who returned to Africa and then later came to America would count as African for the purpose of this thread.

This isn't some scientific study breh

Just vote African and keep it moving.
