Seems kind of fitting for the Mets to beat the Braves in Atlanta on Chipper Jones appreciation night.

I hope we come back and win though.

I think Allen Craig might be a top 5 hitter in the NL, pound for pound.

In 114 games, 140 hits, 22 homeruns, and 91 rbi's. .306/.356/.530

Only getting paid $495k this year. Crazy.

he has been killing the ball since 23 in the minors wonder why is took so damn long for them to give him a spot

They were all stuck on Lance Berkman, had nowhere to put him.

But now Lance is officially looking :flabbynsick:

Braun 40-30. #MVP

Molina is the best defensive player at his position though. Most important position on the field. On a playoff team (which doesn't fully matter to me, but it does to voters).

I think it goes Molina/Posey, Braun, McCutchen. Though I know Molina will probably finish 4th or 5th in voting.

Braun is the MVP. He won't win it because the voters won't vote for him, but he's the MVP, and I honestly don't think it's really a debate.

Molina is no where near the MVP discussion.

I wouldn't say "nowhere near", c'mon man. Top 5 in six offensive categories, best defensive player, fourth in WAR (.2 behind leader), on a playoff team ...

Yeah, the steroid thing is going to cost him. He's been on fire after the ASB though, it's incredible the numbers he's putting up.
