My City
Giants! :eat::dj2::stylin:
The highlight of the evening was when he said "EVERYONE FEARS CABRERA!"...and I responded with, "Maybe on his way home from the bar" :ooh:

Braves fans happy that they're getting hot at the right time, but Cards are too. Both are 8-2 in their last 10 games.

Should be a really exciting play-in game.

If they give it to Kimbrel instead of dikkey I'll be fukking furious. Relievers shoudn't get Cy Youngs unless they've far outperformed all other relievers and starters are having an overall down year. and pitchers shouldn't get MVPs unless they've done something extraordinary and no hitter stands out as being exceptional. I wouldn't have had Verlander in my top 5 for MVP last year.

Kimbrel is having a historic year.

I'm not advocating him for Cy Young, I think dikkey deserves it ...

but Kimbrel is doing something crazy this year.

Strikeouts: 105 in 57 1/3 IP, the best strikeout ratio ever (16.5/9 IP)
Opponent AVG.: .128, the lowest against any pitcher since 1900
Opponent OPS: .368, the lowest against any pitcher in the expansion era
WHIP: 0.68, best by any National League reliever since 1900
Percentage of hitters struck out: 49.5 pct., best in live-ball era

just a great story from the marlins camp, giving one at bat in the final game of the season to a kid that knocked out of the MLB on his first at bat

basically,
adam greenberg had his first MLB at bat in 95 as a Cub against the marlins. First pitch 92 mph fast ball went to his head. Knocked him out and gave him vision problems and vertigo. Never made it back to the league, been in the minors since.
They (the marlins) are giving him a chance this year, for one at bat in the last game of the season.

:obama::thumbsup::clap::salute:

Knowing the season the marlins are having, i get the feeling something bad happens though :scusthov:

btw, he ended up facing the guy that threw that pitch in the minors in 2011 and got a single off of him
