In what way are the Nationals better, besides the fact they hit more homeruns? :heh:

Cards: 733 runs, 1468 hits, 280 doubles, 36 triples, .271 average, .337 obp, .421 slugging, .758 ops

Nats: 710 runs, 1417 hits, 287 doubles, 24 triples, .262 average, .323 obp, .427 slugging, .750 ops

Numbers don't lie. :jawalrus:

I think Allen Craig might be a top 5 hitter in the NL, pound for pound.

In 114 games, 140 hits, 22 homeruns, and 91 rbi's. .306/.356/.530

Only getting paid $495k this year. Crazy.

Do you know what run differential is, genius?

Run differential is the difference between how many runs you scored in comparison to given up. Which has as much to do with pitching as it does hitting. Nationals having a better run differential merely means they have a better +margin in runs they've scored to given up. That has nothing to do with a better offense

If one team scores 600 runs and gives up 400 runs (That's a +200 RF), and the other team scores 750 runs but gives up 700 runs (That's a +50 RF). The latter team is the better offense, even though the former has a much better run differential. Understand how it works now?

So again, I ask you, what are you talking about?

:what:

Are you being serious? We said better offense, what does run differential have to do with that since it takes into account pitching as well? The Nationals obviously have better pitching.

:dead: @ using run differential when the Cardinals have SCORED MORE RUNS.

LMFAO I'm fukking dying. He had no clue what run differential even means.
